I would hope they redo those come the final phase of the champion system... they might like to have some acievements to give out the 15 attribute and skill points for the then-to-vanish veteran ranks, and layered c-point achievements would just do the trick... get 5 points for spending 10 c-points in each, get another 5 points for spending 25 points in each, get the final 5 points for spending 50 points each - that sort of thing.redspecter23 wrote: »I really hope they remove the "spend 1200 CP in this tree" achievements sometime soon. I'm hopefully optimistic about this game but putting in an achievement that won't be achievable for 15 years is a bit silly.
I have made ~ 50cp at a cost of 1.3 million per cp since the release of wrothgar.
If the don´t increase it with thieves guild and then go by only 51 cp every quater of a year i get to use the cp i have now middle of 2017. Rework the whole system but please i want character progression too.
Going with 99 for every update introduced with TG would be something i could get behind even though i´d like a system rework that allows for permanent minimal progression better than caps.Decayed_Inside wrote: »It's about right. They want people to catch up not get trampled on. If people are such good players they won't mind the competition being the same skill/power level as them. If they do mind they need to get gud
It´s not about outleveling and stomping noobs - they could easily circumvent that by having a catchup questline putting you at ~50% of the current cap (cadwells gold/silver after vet removal anyone?).
People want character progression. With this announcement they´ve stated that i won´t have any character advancement for ALL of my characters for atleast 1.5 years.
I don´t think that´s acceptable.

The player who did that, had 300 CP. He was emperor at the time. The cap has had no effect on preventing what you fear, since it does not even apply to the player in question.
The Cap is being raised at a terribly slow rate. Its like ZoS is telling us, "please don't play this game too much, you are not supposed to be at cap yet".

Huh where in the world did you hear that???? That is completely incorrect he had over 60k magicka and over 2k CP. they even said it in an ESO live episode. Go watch it for yourself. If you still try to argue then I'm guessing your his friend trying to defend him. The video is on youtube look it up.

Seems as if they want to get rid of all the players who have a subscription or buy scrolls and rings of mara to get more xp.
He was emperor. Lol.TERMINAT0R_XVII wrote: »All of you guys who say its too low seem to be forgetting why the CP cap was put in place in the first place. You remember the guy who soloed Molag bal on PC in the IC sewer event? The cap is never going to go to where it once was. Or else it will happen again. Then the game will be no fun anymore because everyone can solo everything and no need for grouping. This is an mmo not a skyrim copy. If you want to solo everything go play skyrim ok? The cap most likely will not go above 1,200. So for those who farmed to the CP cap becore orsinium, dont expect to see those CP again.
51 CP per quarter is far too low. Fifteen years to max out the CP system is absolutely ludacris. Even 90 would have been a better number. One CP per day every day of the quarter. Definitely reasonable.
In such case of 90 CP per quarter we would reach the hard cap in 8.5 years. Which to me still seems too long, but it's more reasonable than FIFTEEN years.
