Mike Finnigan, our Dungeon Lead, stated that there are no plans to adjust the balance in vMSA and are happy with the progression that's been made so far, and fixing bugs are currently their top priority. Adding a save feature has nothing to do with the balance, and is something that many of you have been asking for. We never said we weren't going to change anything.
Please reference the post here for everything Mike stated.
To be fair Gina, he did say:One other thing that we are looking at, which is not planned nor on a schedule yet, is saving progress in Veteran Maelstrom.
That this went from "Not planned nor on a schedule." to "Yep, definitely happening, look for it soon." in less than a month is surprising. Glad to hear it is happening but it is a quick about-face.

They didn't even say if it was coming in Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, or an update after that. Don't get me wrong I am very thankful it's coming, but for those of us that have waited months for an answer I think we deserve a little more information to chew on so to speak, as I believe we are still left in the dark.

It will come in time. They like to talk about stuff when they feel the time is right. The details will come out when they are ready.

Still not the best strategy IMO. When you do it like this, you can't implement great ideas you get from the feedback because they come too late when the thing is almost finished.

Clearly in his quote they were looking at it. There was no plan or schedule. Now there is. What the hell are you talking about?
Of course there is no schedule before there is a schedule and no plan before there is a plan. But once they decide to plan it and schedule it there is. This is not an about face. This is time passing.

I know it's only a few weeks away till we find out but they did mention no more skill lines moving forward but what about Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood... we have them for Fighters and Mages surely we need a new one for these guilds!
A sneaky set of skills so anyone can go dark would be great to have!

Ask Us Anything* Laurels and Goldscale coming to Crown Store? Actually, they are working on universal style mat to be sold in Crown Store, which works with everything and helps keep Crown items un-tradeable.
