It took damn near 2 years to get the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild. Two very important guilds in the TES universe. Two major guilds that people prefer over the other two that were left out of the game before release. It already was ridiculous enough that these guilds were not included at launch. Now you are telling me that they will not be getting their own skill line?
Matt alluded to the fact that they will not be introducing any new skills to the game until they fix balance and lag etc.
This is crazy. One, this game will never be balanced. It is an MMO. There will always be FOTM builds and unintended consequences from later balancing updates that will constantly keep the game unbalanced. Additionally, im not sure lag could get any worse. So now we are supposed to lose out on skills because of your inability to fix lag?
The Dark Brotherhood and Thieves guild are two main guilds in TES. ONe could argue that they are liked more by the TES community then the others. Why would you not introduce skills to two main guilds? We have a guild skill tree, yet you refuse to add to it. You have waited two years to include content that should have been included in the game from the beginning and still managed to F it up. If your not releasing new skills with the new content, then it is not finished. Wait to release it.
These two guilds should add to the world in a meaningful way like the fighter guild and mages guild did. No less. These two guilds are getting a slap in the face so that you can release your content for money. There should be skills, passives, and an ultimate in both of these releases. Blah blah balance this balance that blah blah lag. Get that crap out of here. It was too much work to release new skills and passives so you gave these two guilds the short end of the stick. That is a bunch of BS. In fact, this is the best time to introduce new skills since you are balancing the game in the next update. What better time to introduce new skills?
Given the slow process of getting new updates with skills and what not, I would assume that we will not see skills for AT LEAST another year if not longer. That would be three years to complete two guild lines that should have been in at release.
ZOS, you have dropped the ball on this one!
