So as of late every single post on forums is shitposting or pure negativity e.g. ESO is dead, rip ESO, I just unsubscribed guys gz me, vote with your wallets we are not getting anything next DLC, they did not give us any ETA BabyRage. Are you serious? We know nothing about what we are going to get and like half of forum is crying about what we did not get. Seriously I am waiting for somebody to start shouting WoW is dead because this is exactly the same.

People shout WoW is dead on their forums.
People shout GW2 is dead on their forums.
People shout DCUO is dead on their forums.

In fact, most MMO's have this on their forums

This will happen on Black Desert Online forums.
This will happen on Camelot Unchained forums.

And to every other MMO that will come. They all sadly become toxic. This is what happens when you give everyone a platform to say whatever they want and anonymity.

Because this game isn't some $60 throwaway game. Some people have several hundred dollars invested in this game, which they feel gives them the right to say whatever they want. They have the mentality "ZoS works for me". While its important that ZoS keeps improving this game if they expect us to keep paying, sometimes the rhetoric gets taken too far.

The carnage passive is still broken on my Khajiit, which ZOS have neglected to comment on, even though many people have brought it up.
AOE caps are still protecting zergs. Why it's there or why they won't get rid of it, nobody really knows.
Nightblades will spam lotus fan on you when you're low health because they know it goes right through your expensive dodge rolls.
Everyone is running around with a 2h axe for obvious reasons. Still no fix.
ZOS is knowingly deploying a bug to consoles.
Classes are no where near balanced yet we've heard no word from Wrobel. Is he still alive?
PVP Justice System was scrapped. Looking at Lefty's poll a lot of people were actually looking forward to it.
Cyrodiil's performance has been in ruins for a long time, even though it wasn't always this way. They are "looking into this", granted.
People are still getting snared, which is more like a root on every gap closer, so it gets spammed because they know the mechanic works like this. ZOS seem determined to leave it in even though everyone wants it gone. It didn't always work like this either.
Many skills, and even sets, rely on crits to proc, yet we still can't crit shields. Are you trolling us?
CC immunity is still bugged up to wazoo, destroying any chance of fair fights in PVP.
Communication between ZOS and their players completely sucks, except from Wheeler. He da man. But you want any information on your broken skills from Wrobel? You can forget it.

This isn't even a complete list, and you want positivity? Get real man.

I think since I got the game/joined the forums, I've seen only two threads that were posted for us to make positive comments in. They were responses to the negative threads. I think one was post 10 things you like about the game, and another one was to say what you appreciated about the game. Haven't seen any since. I like those kind of threads...

Im pretty sure 75% of the threads I've created are positive. Many of them become negative though, because my clever wordplay has caused some people to dislike me, and they follow me around the forums trying to mess with me.

I agree with op. Whenever I see someone flaming about zos and this game, I always wonder why these people still play and post on the forums. Just go play another game if this one is dead. When I'm finally done with eso or whenever I'm bored of it, I'll just go play another game.

The negativity is great for entertainment purposes tho :^)

Did you watch the last ESO? It was pure garbage. The head man Matt was on and nothing was comforting.

There is so many QoL fixes needed (only dungeon finder confirmed), updates to make this game more modern, bug fixes, class balance.

Speaking of class balance- they're only fixing on each major content patch??? Why do we have to wait months to play broken?

It leaves much to be desired. Here's hoping TG patch addresses much.

Must not play many online games. This place isn't that toxic. We're all passionate about this game and want to see succeed.

And everyone's got different ideas on how the game should succeed, hence the "toxicity"
