I assume you're a magica build. Rapid regen on your resto bar. If not a templar, put healing spring on it too. Follow people around sieging, join a big group, spam heals.

ughFrom what I've seen, you can get about 10k AP on average per hour if you're part of a big group.
To unlock assault level 7 you need 1,624,000 AP.
So you can expect it will take about 162 hours of PvP.
If like me, you play for about 1 hour of PvP per day, it will take you about five months. At three hours per day you can make it in less than two months.
If you don't work and can play eight hours per day, you can make it in three weeks or so.
So yeah, it's highly depend on the playtime you dedicate to PvP. There is no other way.

That's my average, from a PvE player doing PvP.leepalmer95 wrote: »From what I've seen, you can get about 10k AP on average per hour if you're part of a big group.

10k an hour is low, isn't 20-30k average.

I understand most of this, but a few questions if you could help with please.
"Run a delve every hour for AP boost" - do you have to run through a delve and clear all bosses? How much is the ap boost?
"Collect bounties & Cyrodiil quests" - I know what bounties are but which Cyrodiil quests grant ap?
"Psijic ambrosia or crown not XP boosts" - I don't understand can you re-phrase?
"Sub for XP pots" - ???

For delves you need to kill the boss and it's 20% bonus for 1h
Not sure if quests give but the bounties do
Using an exp pot or an exp scroll don't give bonus ap

Do you have to kill one boss or all bosses in the delve? The reason I ask is that some delves have a lot of bosses and that could lead to diminishing returns if it takes 20+ minutes and you only get a one hour bonus.. Especially since it takes forever to ride from keep to keep on your horse.

It's one boss. Take an hour or sp working out which delve has a boss close to the front. Worth the investment.
Yes this is likely the average AP for your average player.@Nifty2g @leepalmer95 @Zerok
It's been said on ESO live (the episode before IC was released) that the average AP per hour is around 10k.
I never trust ZOS's numbers anymore, this just enforces my statement and reason not to trust it even more. Even for an average player that is too low@Nifty2g @leepalmer95 @Zerok
