Funny you should mention that. Last cycle when BBQ was emperor I put my group in between your last emperor keep and a yellow Ash to fight the hordes of yellows coming to depose *so we could farm.
So try again.
I fixed it for you. I'm not even sure there's a meme in existence to adequately capture you pretending like haxus is some altruistic ally of VE. The ridiculousness has always been at defcon 5 levels, but I think you just broke poor ol' defcon.
Even AFTER we showed up last night to finish the dethrone, the numbers still looked even (or as even as one could count with the clustereff that you guys insisted on maintaining so jules could hold onto her precious crown for 20 minutes longer), which means you're all ranting that blue stacked up to take out a gigantic emp group that had more, or equal numbers. That's a mighty strong argument you got there.
At least 75% of your entire alliance was in that one keep, and your leg starts twitching because steve said we stacked with blue for all of 10 minutes to take on an entire alliance and put an end to the absurdity you guys were causing, lulz. Even though you always seem to be deluded into thinking you're fighting an entire alliance in each and every engagement, the next time 19 haxus members are able to assault a keep housing an emperor + alliance in 999+ ping and win alone, let me know and you'll finally get a cookie, until then, even though it seems to be some of your members' baseline mode, enough with the hypocrisy and fake victim card.
If hallow victories of blobbing onto flags while rotating barriers and purges while bar swap is just a memory and CC break is a fallacy, is your idea of PvP then I'm sorry but we don't share the same views.
The real victory is that the other 400 people on the server can PVP again.
Basically what you've said is, when CN stacks raids by themselves they are ruining PvP. However, when VE and CN stack raids on raids together it is a holy conquest to rid the server of lag being caused by EP sitting in a keep?
Seems like everyone is angry about the mechanics of emperorship leading players to a playstyle we all know is detrimental to the game.
Can't blame an emperor for trying to hold onto the title.
Can't blame the other two factions for wanting to depose an emperor.
The mechanic of emperorship will always result in this scenario unless the dethrone (and possibly reign) of the emperor happens in non peak times.
Can we think of a different emperor mechanic that would be less stressful on the servers?
If the answer is no, then I guess everyone needs to get used to this scenario and can check their emotional baggage before entering any threads dedicated to obtaining or losing emp.
Lowering populations to sizes the servers can handle at maximum capacity may be the only solution ZOS could be trusted to implement.

1. EP gets organized and crowns an Empress.
2. DC starts up a salt farm to provide Unruh with more salt than he can use in a lifetime.
3. DC then produces another shipment of salt because they had to dethrone an Empress.
4. DC then begins demanding that no faction can crown Emperors/Empress' on Azura's because reasons.
5. DC also demands all scrolls stay where they are to encourage PvP and not demoralize a faction.
Conclusion: DC is only happy if EP has its tri-keeps and can farm EP every night between Chalman farm and Arrius LM.
Right or Wrong?
I am not even sure you could twist this anymore than you already have in order to make it more self/faction-serving.
Firstly, EP's organization did not get it an emperor. As was discussed earlier on this thread, it was captured after organized competition left for the night and then a WHOLE bunch of EP just come out of the woodworks. Second, DC was "salty" (what are you, twelve?) because it had to dethrone an emperor. People were complaining about the lag caused because dethrones attract a lot of players. Third, DC made no such demands for factions to not crown. Fourth, DC actively does not push scrolls when factions have had their arses whooped because people quit for the night when that happens. If not, we would have every scroll every night.
You're so wrong it's ridiculous. Try to be unbiased for a moment.
1. Earlier the VE spokesperson stated DC was calling in zone to stop attacking EP for fear they would be demoralized. What did we have at the time? Our Tri-keeps and scrolls. Nicely contained so DC could start the Chalman farm to Arrius LM the next day.
2. Empress was crowned with 3 bar pop across the board. It was stated DC was more concerned with AD than EP, so they didn't defend Aleswell. Our fault DC didn't defend?
3. In order for latency to occur attacks had to happen. EP was sitting alone in Chalman doing nothing until DC showed up. Why didn't the DC leadership work together to get the most campaign points? VE hits AD scrolls and CN hits EP scrolls. Leave a few scouts to watch Chalman. Trust me, people don't like making 0 AP per hour, EP would eventually try a retake of BRK. Your scouts shout it and you all get to Chalman and 20/20 the sucker while AD defends BRK. Much less lag and now you have all 6 scrolls. Instead DC chose to ball up and EP felt it had to defend with those numbers in Chalman.

An emp gets dethroned at primetime with tons or lag surrounding the dethrone. This is no news at all, and I've really never seen another emp come on forums and rage like this; it's disappointing to see.
The problem with holding a last emp keep, particularly in Azura's, is that everyone is going to be drawn to that keep for dethrone, there is nothing special in this. I was on my Templar on AD for one of Loli's dethrones, and 80+ EP showed up plus about 40 DC to dethrone that keep. This is not a unique occurrance. I don't think anyone came specifically to dethrone the EP emp last night out of spite, they came to dethrone to get it over with; otherwise, the duration of high lag would have continued all night long, and how is that a good environment for anyone to play in and keep?
I remember, long ago, Wheeler posted asking us to spread out and not do what happened last night. While it is entirely the developer's fault that we deal with this horrid lag daily, we, as the players, should be doing just this. The problem, however, is that there's not many objectives to do that. But if you noticed last night, once the dethrone happened, the server stabilized, and the rest of the night was pretty much ping that everyone could handle. I don't see anything wrong with what VE did; they wanted the high ping gone, and it went away after they pushed the dethrone. I walked into Cyrodiil for the first time in a couple of weeks and it was some of the worst lag I had seen in a long time. People jumping across the screen, 1-3k spikes for me, etc.
A new emp will come, and this will be a repeated thing. This is why I said that the server cannot handle any faction holding emp right now. But it'll happen, just pointing out a fact.

This holier than thou message you're trying to cram down our throats is hysterical. "PUT AN END TO THE ABSURDITY YOU GUYS WERE CAUSING" - LOL. As if YOUR presence at the very same keep was somehow purely as the white knights of ESO and your ball group didn't contribute to the shjtshow. Who knows who had more numbers - all I know is I could not see the ground in any direction I looked. I could not swap my bar and half our group couldn't even stay in the game as the dethrone went through. In case you forgot:That's what is looks like if I stack raids. I'll forget it's OK again.
Great job all DC guilds.
PS: You didn't "win" that fight. There was no real victory in that fight and if you wanna believe that then you really must be out of touch with reality. So the fact that you are trying to talk up what you did with comments like "the next time 19 haxus members are able to assault a keep housing an emperor + alliance in 999+ ping and win alone, let me know and you'll finally get a cookie" is literally atrocious.
Hey VE, you didn't need to be at my last keep and could have just played in 999+ ping for the next few hours while I held onto my crown. Also, you should let the enemy alliance have a few k more health and their most prominent pvp guild retain an emp because reasons. - the drama queen
You can try and turn this into an anti Daniel thread to distract from how embarrassing you've acted, but no one is going to buy it dear. Daniel wasn't even in full glory mode and was still completely outnumbered. When we did bring our raid and coordinate, I went inside the sea of reds and watched his group on the front door so I could call out when he moved in, and it was a far cry from the obscene numbers you'd like to portray, especially when juxtaposed against the red horde you had with you.
There is no holier than thou in the previous pages of posts, just many many people calling you out on the hypocrisy and BS.
Every emp during primetime is dethroned exactly the way you were, including the two people who dropped campaign to even allow you to be emp. The only thing 'special snowflake' about your emperorship and dethrone was that you immediately felt the need to turn into a child and embarass yourself on the forums. Brava.
This has devolved into you just insulting me and calling me a child whenever I counter any argument you make, so I'm pretty much done. Going forward there will be no more misconceptions that we are friends or that any respect is exchanged whatsoever.

That's my point exactly. A lot of you guys cry like I'm still stacking. Please try to remember what that really looks like. I only hit 50 last night, now imagine what the servers would be like today if I stacked 3-4 raids.
I'm trying to play nice, but all the people crying like we still stack makes me just want to stack and remind you.
We just want to play and have fun. Not break the game. And I'm down to loose, I don't care if it's a good fight. But we can answer fire with fire if TKO for example doesn't want to play nice too.
And when I do rally the all mighty glory zerg, our goal typically is to just smash whomever is hardcore zerging to restore a normal ping. It may sound crazy, but in my experience, if you just deal with the lag someone like TKO creates, and destory them, they'll quit and everything gets better. If you don't smash them, they'll just zerg all night and the ping never gets better.

She may have been over reacting but I think you should seriously consider dropping it aswell. You are going way too far attempting to make her feel bad about it and humiliating her.
@Jules Seriously though, if I knew it really meant a lot to you is probably wouldn't have pushed to get involved with the dethrone. From my PoV stuff like this happens all the time, I didn't expect you would really care about it. You know when VE get on the first thing we do is look for an objective and dethroning is always a priority. When you were in our guild it was the same, log on and begin to dethrone Nexus emp.
Anyways, I have a chip on my shoulder regarding situations like this particularly because of how much sh*t I get from those in your guild regarding the numbers we run and how we play, but certainly I can understand the frustration of a dethrone like that (it happened to me trying to defend BBQ emp) and if I'd known it would be a thing I prob would've just pushed for a server swap. No one set out to ruin your night, I'm sorry it ended up that way. These days I think with how the game is, if we don't laugh off stuff like it's just going to drive us to hard drugs and alcoholism

You wanna pretend like that's on us for defending a last emp keep then go on your merry way and do it. Even though the true culprit of this nonsense is literally IN THIS THREAD ADMITTING THAT'S WHAT HE DID, which you aligned with and contributed to and you're still somehow finding us at fault.
There's literally nothing positive to be said from your reactions thus far. I'm not going to blow sunshine because you want to be friends when it suits you and you see an opportunity to play a victim card. If your reaction had been mature, people would have given you respect and you wouldnt feel the need to be so defensive. Your immediate reaction to losing emp was to rage quit a guild (a trend?), and then followup with obscene salt levels on the forums. Frankly, I'd much rather have friends that are stable and don't act like this as soon as something doesn't go their way. Again, not a single azura emp, including your own guildies, has acted like this, so clearly it's something to do with you.
You yourself have said you overreact to things and then have regrets, this most certainly will be one of those times, it's just far more public and ridiculous.
She may have been over reacting but I think you should seriously consider dropping it aswell. You are going way too far attempting to make her feel bad about it and humiliating her.
You're acting like you've been victimized/betrayed and it's just silly. If you can honestly tell me haxus wouldn't push for a dethrone of a VE emp when it's down to the last emp keep, with a straight face, then we can continue talking (this is the point where you go quiet, look side to side, then sink into your chair a little).
Funny you should mention that. Last cycle when BBQ was emperor I put my group in between your last emperor keep and a yellow Ash to fight the hordes of yellows coming to depose *so we could farm.
So try again.

I have nothing against you Steve. Was cool of you to say that.
