Why do people use group finder, then get mad and yell when I'm just learning?

As a healer I've been kicked before in similar ways at the last boss. Everyone except me kept dying and aparently I wasn't a team player. Yet the truth to it is I can't heal if they run away from me and in every direction while standing in one shot red circles. Worst part the tank couldn't do his job and I took the agro as well as Trying to keep heals up. I ended up laughing and say their loss not mine as I don't care too much about the monster sets or achievements they can be got anytime not the end of the world. Funny tho never saw them get groups after that. Gotta love karma

I'm on PC/NA/DC

I primarily play as a NB ( vet 10 ) but I also have a templar healer that just made it to vet 1. I have some good skills from the Alliance Wars skill line.

I've been doing a lot better. I've adopted a method where when i join in I make small talk and if anyone seems cranky i just leave. I've completed about two dailies now even managed to tank vet elden hollow final boss since we were 3 dps and a healer. Didn't realize I could pull that off but inner light and healing ward got it done lol

Just make sure you're actually learning and adapting. I've done many training runs, and am always happy to explain the mechanics, be patient and endure a few wipes while party members figure it out.

I'm not ok with it when people don't acknowledge that they don't know a fight, and expect to be carried, hoping nobody notices they don't know what they're doing. It's also not ok when somebody dies to the same thing over and over and over and over....without making any changes.

Just learning? Sounds like you have PvE sorc all figured out.
