...well... actually as a spoiler spoiler...My only qualms with a crown store Alliance Change is that it doesn't come with a questline. I want to see the look of disappointment on Ayrenn's face as she hands me documents concerning the wereabouts of the Eyes of the Queen in Pact lands in exchange for Aeradan Camorans's life, a chase scene with her next high ranking official since ...... I left Raz to die in Reaper's March ...
But yes, I too really, really want any possible alliance change to come with its own story quest! Bonus points for Naryu being the one players go to if they decide to defect to the Pact!... that ends in Naryu blocking their path by dropping a portcullis just before we hop on some guars towards Mournhold. Sadly, I'll probably just double click the store icon and relog, where I'll appear in non-vet Davon's Watch. Cash shops make games so boring. I wonder if not being able to tell a story in lieu of a quick $ is as disheartening for ZOS's developers as I would feel.

Or at V14 only, after all quests had been completed, all skyshards found, all lorebooks located... at which point it would be a possibility as a betrayal style quest. After which any npc/mob/character of note in your old faction would instantly aggro (even common townsfolk) and rush you out of any settlement where they could gather enough people.
... I would be interested to see how many people would take it up then.
That is not quite right...Doflamingo wrote: »At the end you can be in all 3 alliances with the same character so adding an alliance change option doesnt really make sense

should be fine and not exploitable.

I found a really helpful awesome EP guild that I have been a part of since shortly after my EP character and have been playing with ever since. However, my DC Templar is way more enjoyable for me to play but I can't play that character with my EP guild for obvious reasons. My suggestion below.
I've played many MMORPG's and haven't been as satisfied with them as I am with ESO. I love this game, it has everything, almost. Besides the PVP/DUELING ideas I have, the reason for this post is the addition of an option to change Alliances. Whether it's VIA the crown store, or any other option (pay?). It can even have rules such as you can only switch alliances with each character ONE time, so make it count. I risk losing my EP guild because I can't transfer my DC character over. I would love to see this as an option in ESO. Shoot, I would even pay $20 or more to switch Alliances if I could!
Different factions, same story. I'd LOVE to see faction change allowed, even with hard limitations (must complete Cadwell's Gold, must be V14, may only change once per char or account, or whatever else they come up with). This is the thing that should have been in the Crown Store since it became available, instead of all the useless fluff. You need someone to kill to farm AP. Dead campaigns = no AP. Furthermore, there could be a limit on faction changes to prevent constant swapping. Your argument doesn't stick.I 100% hope they do NOT add alliance change. It would create so much imbalance between factions.
The major pvp guilds would just switch alliances to the least populated so they can farm more apWho said anything about jumping factions at will? That would indeed be nonsensical, but I've seen NOBODY asking for that. Also, anyone can get the Imperial Edition now, since it's been added to the Crown Store.Daemons_Bane wrote: »I preordered Imperial Edition, so I know that.. Would effect PvP too much I thinkImperial edition, you can make any race in any faction you want.QFT. That is absolutely unreasonable. Yes, switching factions does provide the convenience of not having to level to VR14, but you know what? I have several characters that are in the early VRs that I'd like to bring over to my main faction. It's about playing the characters that I made and that I relate to, not just about saving a few weeks' grinding.wrlifeboil wrote: »If they did allow paid faction changes, the price to allow a person to change a VR14 to another faction should reflect the amount of time which would be needed to level a brand new character to that level. 100,000 Crowns?
100,000 Crowns is reasonable. It costs $60 to boost a character to level 90 in WoW. That isn't even the maximum level (level 100 is the maximum) and it is much easier to level to 100 in WoW than it is to reach VR14 in ESO. The Crown store price should reflect that.
Band Camp statements: To state "But this one time I saw X doing X... so that justifies X" Refers to the Band camp statement.
