Best way to sell recipes? Xbox, EU, EP

Hi - I have a load of duplicate recipes I want to sell. Greens / Blues. I remember when I started Writs it drove me mad not having this one or that one. Anyway - whats the best way?

My guild is small no store. I dont know how Guild Stores work - do you get the cash for your stuff they advertise or does the Guild? i.e if I join a random Guild to sell my things, do I need to know them / trust them. I have other stuff like a stock of Kuta runes etc.

I thought about hanging about near Writ boards and trying to trade, but not sure how you suggest the price? I've only traded with mates where i'm giving them stuff.

Lastly - how do you judge prices?

Join another guild, you can have up to 5. The first screen when you open the guild store is simply for you to search for things that are for sale on that trader. If you hit the R1 key (PS4) this takes you to the screen were you can list an item for sale, simply click on the item in your inventory and update the sell price. Hit the R1 key again and it shows you the items you have listed for sale (up to 30 items per trader).

Although you can join 5 guilds you have to pick and choose which ones you want to stay part of, the ones with the best traders are the ones that require extortion money each week vs ones that are simply donation based to attempt to obtain a trader each week.

Thanks @Mike0987 so if I join a crafting guild, and I list an item as you say - and it sells does that gold just come straight to me? (I guess in essence i'm just selling my stuff on their stall and transaction is with me) or does the gold go to the guild then they give to me?

Lastly - does that item then leave my inventory while its up for sale - i.e. its locked out. And if it doesnt sell I can get it back ok?

The broker take a cut, the guild gets a small cut and the rest of the coins go to you. The item is taken out of your inventory while it is for sale. If the item does not sell the item is returned to you but the fee spent to list it with the broker is not returned. It's a great way to free up inventory space. You can list up to 30 items per guild.

Ok - my next question on Guild Stores. How are the prices set? If its me what happens in a Guild Store if there are players with the same items - i.e. if I set a Kuta rune as 3000 and someone else at 2500 - or does the Guild / Game set the prices automatically?

YOU set the prices. What I do is find a large city or two and search the item you want to sell in all the guild traders. Then you can determine what a fair price and also maximize profits. Prices vary from server to server. On PS4/NA if you price kutas at 10k they generally sell very fast.

It's a lot harder to judge prices on consoles, since we don't have add-ons to show us what prices currently are at guild traders.

As mentioned above, shop around at several cities to see what prices are like. You also need to think about the foot traffic for your particular guild trader. If you're part of a large trading guild with a good location, then you can feel confident selling your items at the standard prices. If you're in a more remote location, depending on how much you have to sell and how fast you want to sell things, you may want to consider prices that are slightly cheaper. This may entice the casual shopper who just happened to stop by and take a look since they were in the area.

Also, just wanted to point out that you will get the listing fee back if the item sells. You don't get it back only if it doesn't sell and the item is returned to you after 30 days.
