what are good sets to combined with twice born star?

So ive been trying out different crafted sets with twice born star on my magic night blade before i hit vet 16, trying to see what does the most dps. TBS and 4 piece julianos with the shadow and thief mundus is really good but i was wondering if any other combined sets would be optimal for damage output aka tbs, 2 tarugs, 2 magnus with the mage and apprentice mundus? I keep having problems if i equip other sets with the bonuses not applying in my character sheet. Im on ps4 so i dont have numbers to see what the damage is but any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Apologies for the long and slightly confusing question, ill try to clear it up if anybody wants to know specifically about something

5 TBS 4 Overwhelming 3 Willpower is a good combo. Or 5 TBS 2 Torugs, 2 Kena and 3 Willpower. Or 4 Magnus.

Your setup already seems pretty ideal. I haven't tested it, but you can try 1 Molag Kena, 5 piece TBS with Thief/Shadow combo, 3 piece Arcane Willpower jewelry, and 2 piece Torug's Pact then.

I have 2 overwhelming and 1 Molag kena peice after like 20 wgt tower successful runs and about 5 failed runs due to noob groups. How do you guys actually get that gear. Must play a lotz

I assume you would have to do weapon pieces for the twice born to get the 5 piece bonus then? because overwelming drop armour only pieces. And with that setup would thief shadow mundus still be viable or mage apprentice?

If you can fit it in there, I think the spell damage from 5 piece Julianos would be much better than running 2 torugs and 2 magnus.

That is correct, dual wield on both bars. You use Shadow and Thief mundus stones.

You get roughly the same DPS from Julianos as with TBS though, and Julianos is by far easier to get hold of.

That is correct, dual wield on both bars. You use Shadow and Thief mundus stones.

Agreed that double dual wield is probably best for dps, i dont know if i can give up weaving attacks tho haha

Ive tried combining other combinations with twice born star but im not getting any bonuses from other sets. Is stuff like this happening to other people?

Most of what I see here is viable. I might add in a 5 set of Julianos with your TBS to maximize spell power.

I was thinking the same - 5pc TBS, 1pc Molag Kena, 2pc Torug's and Willpower jewelry

Maybe 4 piece twilight's embrace? I believe that set gives health, spell damage, and spell crit but it's often overlooked for 4 piece Magnus because Magnus gives max magicka, magicka recovery, and spell damage

If I ever get a Molag Kena piece... I would run Master Inferno Staff, 1 piece Kena, 1 piece bloodspawn, 5 pieces Tbs, 3 willpower.

That is until they make a monster piece with a 1 piece Magicka recovery...

Of course you could factor in the idea that technically Nirnhorned is better and use a Nirnhorned TBS staff, and try and decide a good 4 piece, probably magnus.

But I prefer higher critical chance, gotta feed power surge.
