What are the most difficult Classes-Roles combinations to play?

Medium armor stamina NB tank (S&B/2H) can be quite challenging, you have to actively block and not hide behind your shield all the time.

Sorc healers is a no no just dont its more impossible. A sorc tank is very fun actually its interesting you should try that out i went 5 light 2 medium armor and sword and board and use ur shields cause they cant crit on you and block for most of it and streak to stun

In pve, magicka nb rotation is pretty tough compared to others. I heal and dps without changing anything but skills and gear, and the gear is not even fully necessary. You probably won't get the best numbers in the game, but it's a crazy fun playstyle and is a dynamite support class. In high end trials, I usually run war horn, necrotic orbs, elemental drain, a resto staff with healing springs on the back bar (because we only run one healer and sh*t happens) and I can still pull around 14-20k dps while wearing 5 pc spell power cure.
Magicka nb can also tank. I would if I had the skill points to do so.
Magicka nb is kind of against the grain and is a pretty tough rotation compared to everything else, but it's definitely worth it. You'll never get bored playing it.

Don't worry about it, cyrodiil lag and low fps on crowded fights will take care of your problem

They can be good tanks if you don't mind something that has shields stacked with no real mitigation. As for healers, not that much. I've run with a few good Sorc healers but a templar healer will always be better.

I wouldn't say that there is a most difficult class/role/race to play. It depends on what your definition of challenging is. If you really want to shoot yourself in the foot, you could choose the most inefficient combination, but I doubt you would want to do that.

If you want to play for fun as your forum signature suggests, I say pick a race you think looks cool and a class you like, and just go with it. You can always interchange roles later on when your character is more developed. Be advised, however, that even if you min-max every race/class combination, they won't all be equally effective, which doesn't imply challenge in my opinion.

lol what, have you tried to tank and heal a dungeon? No shards, and your heals are weak in 5 heavy and you're required to keep everyone alive with low magic regen, low mana and weak repentance.
you obviously haven't done proper tank/healing... give it a shot in icp or wgt and tell me how easy it is

I tankheal dailies more often than just tank or just heal. Including the IC dungeons. I don't need Shards because Repentance gives me and stamina DDs infinite resources from trash and I throw Spears for others. Only permablocking tanks need Shards. Magicka regen is not low, I can spam Breath of Life.
Do you even templar?

screw that . so many bosses are physical damage dealers. I'd just sorc/magicka tank in 7/7 heavy armor + 1h+s.
as an example
reduced block and bash cost on all 3 jewlery. 5 piece seducer to help with resources and jobs a gooden.

Kinda have to agree. It's not that complicated rotation or skill wise lol. You taunt bad stuff and you heal. Resource management can be tricky though, unless gulping tri-pots.

I guess heal/tank can be really challenging if dps is bad and group not good enough to play without a full time healer. But in those cases, I wouldn't be playing heal/tank to begin with so I wouldn't know the end of that nightmare.

I think playing healer perfectly is harder. Keep up spell cure + hots, elem drain or siphon, minor sorcery and combat prayer, while timing and aiming shards and magicka blobs. Than heal of course and preferably do off dps simultaneously, while not going oom or dying to some crap(no one can save your ass with cross heals). I'm happy if I can do half of it, without failing. Also requires a lot more clunky weapon swapping mid-fights than other builds which adds another layer of danger.

But hardest all categories for me in PvE is playing mele dps, any class, in newer content(IC dungeons + vMA). I just fail. While some of it is due to lack of experience, it's certainly harder than taunting and block casting Breath of Life

You're going to get CC'd and die from a 30K unmitigated shot because your physical resistance is approximately 10K

Between armor, weapons, enchants, sets, stats, world/guild skill lines, and champion points you can make any race/class/role combination effective enough to get through the content.

This is an odd question. If you want to artificially enhance the difficulty of your gameplay then what you really want to look at is less than optimal build combinations, the "jack of all trades" builds. But, with a little tinkering, even those builds can have some unexpected synergies depending on what you put on your bars and your playstyle.

I would still say you can make the game really hard on yourself if that's what you want, you just have to disregard anything you might already understand about the game's character building mechanics and choose things that obviously don't work well together.

You're never going to get a unanimous agreement regarding what the "most difficult" class/role choice is though. The question is too simplistic and there are too many variables that can make any class/role viable.

I used the magicka shields to stay alive but thats just how i played it honestly you can go with it differently

There's different questions being answered here. Do you want something challenging to play but still viable? Or do you want a build that is absolutely impossible to play well enough to get you through... because a Magicka bow Templar in heavy gear rocking bone shield, blood altar, and inner fire would be impossible to make into a decent dps.

I asked for classes and roles. I think that trying to heal with heavy armor is weird and it have no sense becuase having more resistant wont help me to heal my friends.
