oh really?
the technology not only exists to make invisibility, but,
it is allready being used and has been for many many years.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRfKi-2qWEY
The most advanced tech in eso is a stone trebuchet. Eso is all about magic and fantasy levels of strength, no need to reason it out like that.

the point is, is that its no longer fantasy.
its real, and not only being used in real life it can be used in games.
the idea that some one is in stealth is also deeply written into the thieves guild and dark brotherhood.
thats not something you want to destroy, its something you use to your advantage.

A mature game where real battle tactics would matter.
Therefore, it will never happen. People want easy kills.

I mean srsly....do you see 4 man groups of just Nightblades doing imperial city prison at v16?
Sorcs on the other hand are capable of doing this granted it takes a lot of skill and little to no mistakes.
In short Sorc would become the undisputed best class if stealth was removed in every form.
The nerf rants would never end.

Well, I tank Imperial City Prison on my NB quite easily. Then you'd have 3 magicka NB using Funnel Health DPS, with one of them having a Resto Staff for emergency Healing Ward and Healing Springs. Pretty sure it would work as well if not even better as having 4 sorcs. I know it works easily for White Gold Tower.
Magicka NB have a higher sustainable DPS plus more utility (Funnel Health and Sap Essence are strong DPS skills with amazing support heal) for end game than Sorcs. Sorcs have Overload, besides that their DPS is, unfortunately, kinda meh.
NBs are not only good because of their stealth game, but also because of really good utility skills and synergies with their passives. Ofc stealth is still a strong aspect of the class, I am not denying that. But even without that, they would be still better off than some other classes currently are in Cyrodiil.
Nonetheless, stealth is an important and crucial part of the game.

Everyone would stick to large groups, the village quests in cyrodiil would become very difficult to do, and NBs would be pretty useless. Tanks and sorcerers would be the only things worth playing.
I disagree, many people stick in large groups for the reason of stealth and Nightblade gank squads. As a healer, I would be more persuaded to run solo if I knew there wasn't a group of Nightblades waiting to ambush me stealthed right outside my keep.
