Guild House In Game Selling

I have been playing the game for awhile now and have several characters the I enjoy playing with and getting new things for. My biggest thing that I do not like about the game is that you pretty much have to join a guild otherwise each player just can't sell any of the extra items that they find in the game and that makes it hard for each player to build up their wealth besides doing the quests and selling the items in town.

And to it seems to me you also have to join a guild with guild trader that does cost more gold and in order to stay in the guild you have to play the game more. It seems that they in some ways take the freedom of being able to play the game when ever the player wants.

I really would like it if we could just sell things to everyone but doubt that this will happen

Does everyone like the way it is now or do you think that they should make the guild house more like a auction house like other MMO RPG games that are more open to everyone?

Never going to happen Trade guilds want a monopoly and Gina Bruno already said that ZOS consults with those trade guilds before they change anything trade-wise and actually listens to them

Guilds cost exactly ZERO gold to be a member. If your guild is charging you gold, find another guild.

To add to my response. I DO think there should be more options to sell our items to other players but I think it should be a bit more involved. Something along the lines of a Merchant's Guild that allows players to create a storefront or participate in a storefront... I haven't really come up with a system I like though... but you are correct that it should be easier for a "solo player" to sell their wares to other players.

You are correct it does not cost anything to join a guild but the larger active ones that I have looked at which would give me a better chance to sell stuff on seem to have a guild trader that does cost which is why they probably have membership dues.

I am not saying to completely get rid of the guild stores I just wish that their was another option for players who may not want to have to join a guild in order to sell items to other players.

That is a restriction that I am not in favor of especially when it takes away the freedom of being able to play the game whenever I want to and not have to worry about making a regular gold payment.
