They are allowed to remain there because they can't get removed from a place they paid to be allowed in.
Just let those EP or smurfs oor whatever gank those carebears.
why people even care? it's theirs stones not yours, and if you did die to someone, well, god damm , it IS a pvp zone.

If you wanna come fight me, come do it. If you can beat me in a fair fight, hats off to your skill and build. But IC has nothing to do with that.

This is a fantasy game!
But I think "no fights" should be one option among several, if fair fights are impossible.
Fire is hot and you can get ganked in IC.
It's explicit and implicit. The ENTRANCE becomes faction-locked.
However, I do agree that you shouldn't be able to respawn inside if your entrance has been locked.
Now that I think about it, you probably should be able to respawn inside if you die to mobs.

I don't like asparagus, so I don't have an opinion on how it should be cooked. Get the point?

I explained precisely why your explanation isn't valid.
People could NOT complain that they cannot access content they've paid for because they could still access it on a non-gated campaign.

IC is not your cup of tea. You could have just said "I don't like the risk vs reward system in IC, so I won't participate."

Look at all the threads of pvp players complaining about not being able to pvp in wrothg...Nvm
I'm kind of curious as to how many keeps OP captured and defended that he feels entitled to a pvp free IC experience. I'm going to bet a grand total of zero.

How about : I love asparagus but the way they're cooked in this restaurant makes them disgusting and potentially toxic, thus I suggest a different recipe ?
Get the point ?
PLEASE NOTE that @josh.lackey_ESO is a hardcore PvPer who loathes IC, and that I am a pure-blood PVEer who enjoys IC, with or without opponents, with or without gankers.
It would be wise, if we all want to have a constructive discussion, to stop considering all PvPers like "cowrd-NB-stealth-gankers" and inversely, all PvEers like "self-entitled-carebears".
We're merely discussing the pros and cons of a temporarily PvP-free IC and how to "earn" it for a few hours, in a way that makes sense in terms of efforts/rewards.
If you don't like the idea of a PvP-free IC, you have several non gated campaigns at your disposal, just go there, problem solved.
Give the carebears their own cyrodiil... No possibility of skyshards, alliance points, TVs, or monster trophies. you may grind and get all your achievements and even get the set pieces from the dark anchors.
Enjoy the content, not the rewards.

If you get PvP-free IC, they must remove TVs and trophies, otherwise it devalues those items significantly.

Best way to make gold in the game

What have trophies got to do with it... ?
You can farm trophies "in peace" in IC, even with PvP... if I get ganked/killed the trophies remain with me... and frankly getting killed in the districts is no big deal : you're back in a second.
I think even if there was a pvp-free instance of IC I would still farm trophies in pvp-enabled IC. I like the sneaking, the thrill, the risk. It's the only place in the entire game where I can find real small scale PvP that I like, with the possibility to use the environment (walls, mobs..) to my advantage (or not if I mess up) . Admittedly I get killed more often than not but I'm getting better over time, and the good thing is : if i get killed, there are little to no consequences : I simply respawn on the balcony. And if I win, I have a great satisfaction : it means I'm not doing that bad ! :-) I have great memories of 1v1 in districts that lasted over 10 minutes and were really great, whether I won or not. (Admittedly, after such a long fight, you're VERY happy if you win ;-) )
@Digerati , I tend to reply to your posts more than to others, no sure why, but that doesn't mean that I disagree with you on everything. I think that in general people should put things more into perspective and see those discussions as an exchange of points of view rather than a "fight". (The "you" in the following does not refer to you personally but to "people" in general)
- The person who ganked you in IC is not necessarily a griefing stealthing NB. It could just as well be me, poor PvE based sorc trying to have fun in a 1v1. Fight me back, you can win, believe me.
- Don't overestimate your TV stones. They're very little use anyway, there's nothing in the game that you can buy with TV stones and you can all buy it with gold anyway. Trophies matter more, and you keep those no matter what.
- Scared PvE-ers aren't necessarily "entitled". They're scared, because PvP when you're not used to it is brutal and scary. It took me a while not to be overly frustrated and react appropriately (emotionally) to dying in PvP (instead of overreacting).
I truly dislike the way PvEers and PvPers talk to each other in threads such as this one. I appreciate ZOS trying to mix the two worlds together but I start wondering if it's not pure utopia and if we would not be better off having completely separate playgrounds in the game.

However I love the anxiety of soloing around in the sewers carrying a 4 times multiplier not knowing if I'm going to get ganked. Sometimes you lose othertimes you win and kill the ganker. or evade the ganker. The anxiety is actually an enjoyable aspect of IC Sewer grinding. I think OP was just misunderstanding the lock system.
