The boss absolutely murders me and then again some bosses in the 3 starting zones for levels 1-24 are difficult enough, even some basic enemies are hard. I don't need it more difficult, and I certainly don't need another Dark Souls 2 where I can't even complete the first quest, because it's so difficult.
you are aware this game was alot harder when it first came out on pc right?
i was a sword and shield dk back then.
couldn't beat doshia at lvl 12 died 3 times, i though *** it i will return when im stronger. came back at lvl 18 and actually felt like i accomplished something. this game is a cookiecutter compaired to as it was

Yeah I remember I was on PC shortly after it's release being May 2014, sadly my PC can't run the game anymore as it's a 2 year old Lenovo Y410p laptop that's really been through a beating with the types of games I tried to run on it, so it's my web browsing PC right now. I'm on Xbox One right now, so I can work on getting a better and newer desktop to play games on. Back on topic when I started playing ESO back then it kind of did feel closer to Dark Souls II in terms of difficulty, which I do NOT want. I remember I gave up at like level 10, played Skyrim & Oblivion for about a week and came back, I started flinging projectiles every which way at the enemies I was having issues with and as the saying goes 1 bee sting may hurt, but a thousand kills this turned out to be true in this sense. I was able to get past that part, complete the quest, and learn that you can't just beat everything to death like you can in Skyrim. ESO in this regard kind of challenged my brain cells and it being my very first MMO made it somewhat satisfying until the next boss fight. I like the way the game is now it feels pleasingly balanced.

The character I am using is a boosted level 34 and my health regenerates faster than mobs can do damage ( even fighting 3-5+ my health barely moves ) even the 1 pip mobs do little damage.. I can understand some not being the best players and not wanting extreme difficulty on the solo content but this is a bit overboard on the easy meter currently. IMO.

Make the mobs as challenging as the IC ones and boost experience. Job done.

While we are at it, BUFF city of ash!
To bad about the babies having tantrums cos they can't beat the game. That is why you have a DLC area that is way too easy.

As it stands it is a cake walk ( especially Orsinium - I am not interested in IC since PvP run ins is not a big interest of mine ) where you really have to intend to die and even then it is difficult for it to happen.

Like "set handicap to 1, do only 90% damage, and get only 90% protection, set to 2 and only get 80%, etc."
For those who want a bit extra challenge... a MMO cannot set the difficulty level of the world like a single player game, but they -could- allow people to voluntarily decrease their character effectiveness...

The way of the MMO...nerfcries untill everything is dumbed down ...then players start leaving because everything is so easy.
Business as usual

@Lysette : here we have a low level (38) complaining that Wrothgar is too easy... it's not old experienced vets...
However, what I see in Wrothgar most times is people refusing to start a world boss as long as they haven't gathered at least 8 people... those bosses can be a real challenge, but not with 8 people !! :-)
