Aside from what everyone said, VR 1 will be the most difficult PvP experience you can find. You just made it to where you can't join non Vet, but are the weakest of all possible VRs in there.

When I first hit VR i too went into PvP, just to get a feel for how the power differed, and it's substantial.

    I didn't seriously PvP until I hit vet 14.

I would suggest taking these above advice and not getting to upset until the higher vet rankings

yeah.... i wont lie. once vet levels are gone. you wont have to deal with that crap no more

It would only be worst no more battle leveling to give low vrs with no gear 30k health for no reason.

    You don't need to quit.
Take a break and pop in after awhile.
See what, if anything, has changed.

I didn't play for a good long span.
The game grew leaps and bounds within that time.
    I'm glad that I took a break.

Anyways, I hope you find what you're looking for. :)

You are right because even now with battle leveling being the best it's ever been. it does not compensate for a lack of CP.

@Gothlander if you're NA PC DC, I can gear you out. My guilds won't be suitable for you as we're all max level experienced players, but I can try to help you find a good guild.

I would not use julianos until you get a lot of cp that set shines the more cp you have. I would make a friend that could craft you a kagernac set to use from now until you get many more cp. The 5 piece set bonus is really nice in pvp and in pve as well. Don't get discouraged nobody started out amazing it takes practice. As for skills try ALL of them BOTH morphs. See what fits your play style. Don't go off the cookie cutter builds.learn yourself what works together well and what doesn't.

Being good means learning what does what, recognizing when to do it and learning when not to. Learning what is currently "most popular" with each class can help you avoid it or at least anticipate it.

You will die its pvp but the more practice and teamwork you employ the better you will become. Make friends, join some guilds and with enough practice you too can be great.

Also, start trying to do the undaunted pledges. The passives in that skill line can make a big difference.

Thanks for the knowledge. I have someone crafting me a set of gear now. I need to take a closer look at a lot of these skill trees. Ive been playing for a few months but still feel kinda noob. The game is really deep and not easy mode like other simpler mmos out there.

TESO needs a wardrobe system badly. Something similar to WoW's tmog system would make this game one of the best mmorpg out there!

I made him 4 Seducer, 4 Kagernac's Hope and sent him 3 Warlock Jewelry, I also sent blue magic/HP food and tripot potions. That should help some with health, magic and magic regen since he's playing a magic light armor Templar. The armor was 5 light/2 heavy to boost his armor a bit.

Going dual wield on one bar and 5 Kags will also be a big boost. I still recommend trying to find a good guild that helps new players regularly. You'll find it helps quite a bit.

One more tip as a magicka templar. Embrace group play. Magicka templars are weak solo, but a force when in a group. Healing and fast rez can change battles.

    Hi there!

Your stats are bad, but that is easily correctable since you said you just threw together random gear. I play a magicka templar for EP on NA: email me (my @name is the same as my forum name) and I'll craft you a decent set of VR1 gear.

Also as a general rule I find regeneration *extremely* important for PvP play. You have little and little spellpower to show for it. In short, your build can be greatly improved and that will help a lot.

What I suspect is the bigger issue here is general inexperience. We all were pretty bad at first (I watch some of my old videos from May 2014 and cringe how bad I was). It takes time to develop a 6th sense to react instantly to what you will face in Cyrodiil as opposed to think and analyze it. It's OK. As long as you objectively analyze why you are dying as opposed to making ego-saving justifications like "lag" "zergs" or "no CPs," then you should quickly improve to the point where you can compete.

I highly recommend you try to get in a PvP guild that caters to training new members. I know of a bunch of guilds and players, but I'm not entirely sure which ones are recruiting or generally are looking to train new players. I KNOW such guilds exist though! I just don't want to inaccurately speak for them. You will learn a ton quickly by running with them.

In general I think CPs are a bit overrated. I wouldn't be overly discouraged about not having a lot of them. What is more important is that you adopt your build and abilities bars to a play-style that you enjoy and are comfortable using.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

I'm probably going to get bashed for this but oh well.

    1. Get some gear crafted for your level. Get your weapons purple. Everything else can be blue.

    2. Watch some deltia videos on his YouTube channel. At least watch his buffs spams and execute guide. It will help you get a grasp on some basics that can help.

Maybe watch some of his build videos.

    Also

Lefty Lucy has some really great combat tactics videos he made on his you tube channel.

Try all of these things. Give it some practice and it will get better.
