    Thought this was going to be about how awesome it used to be when DKs could pop a banner every few seconds, but you were v14 in the video so it's really only the last few patches - and I don't think anyone (intelligent) thought DK was OP in the last few patches. They seemed to be in a really good place right before IC.

    I'm still not a fan of them being able to perma block and spam whip, I remember using puncturing sweep (hitting 4 times, you'd think it'd evaporate their stam) while running cyrodiil's light (flat 25% damage mitigation), and they'd just permablock and whip you to death. I don't think that's something that should come back, ever. Don't see why they can't get a few buffs to things like whip to make them capable of the same kind of high sustained dmg a stam DK is capable of, and both would benefit from a GDB buff.

    There are still some really good players that can make magicka DK work right now, but put that same good player on any other build and they'd probably do better.

    Either way, when toppling charge locks out all of my abilities unless I waste a potion to reset it, a bug that was in game for many months, fixed, and reemerged, it makes me slightly less sympathetic at the numerous dk threads lately, even though they're justified. At least DK doesn't have the bugs that templar has, even if their skills need work.

    It makes me think that templar and DK threads should just combine forces and tell ZOS they can heal and tank their stupid vet pledges without us until we get some fixes!

    Thing is- that most people wish DK would move in the direction of tankiness rather than high sustained damage. I'd rather see the DK buffs move back toward miss chances, block mitigation, reduced damage intake ect ect ect. The nerf to stam regen while blocking was the last change to neuter DK's and though it may have been inconvenient to wail on a DK permablocking, sure as hell beats this high damage and gtfo everyone else meta.

    Other than that I'd just have to say that comparing tragedies is never my cup of tea. Templars having bugged skills is unfortunate, toppling charge bug is annoying and should've been fixed a long time ago. In the same way that templars have a crappy gap closer skill that only sorta works, DK's have dragon blood. Apples and oranges. Fix both classes. I'm down for the boycott of vet pledges but alas I think they will just get magblades to replace both of us.

    Same, and with over 150 days played it feels like such a shame. Hopefully fingers crossed for useful buffs in the future.

    • Fix Volendrung (spawn location - weapon white on the map causing the wielder to keep it forever - usable with emperorship)
    • Remove / Change CPs System, remove current CP/noCP campaigns and introduce one 30days with lock, one with no locks
    • Fix crashes when approaching a keep under attack because of bad / wrong rendering prioritization system
    • Change emperorship to value faction score points and not alliance points - see this and this

    • Make snares only available from ground effects abilities

    Not true. I didn't get rekt easily by any stamina class as a magicka DK in 1.6.

    The only problems magicka Dks had in 1.6 was nirn (which affected every mag build), and killing magicka sorc with shield stacking (which every mag build had a problem with). Not sure how you would get rekt by stam builds with undodgeable whips and permablocking.

    Going to agree with this sentiment. Whip going through dodge and perma-blocking masked the problems with DKs that were exposed when both of these cheeze mechanics went the way of the dodo. Though DKs had good match-up Vs. stam users bc/ Whip at that time

    Overpriced standard, pointless cinderstrom, useless DoTs, no mobility/escape, little burst, ultimate nerf, etc., was all there the day 1.6 was released.

    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    I have to say it's been a giant pain in my azz facing your group on the battle field, GG sir.

    Not a huge fan of builds that kill slow so I made my Magicka DK glass cannon style. Can't 1vX with it but I get more killing blows then I think i would otherwise.

    Going to agree with this sentiment. Whip going through dodge and perma-blocking masked the problems with DKs that were exposed when both of these cheeze mechanics went the way of the dodo. Though DKs had good match-up Vs. stam users bc/ Whip at that time

    Overpriced standard, pointless cinderstrom, useless DoTs, no mobility/escape, little burst, ultimate nerf, etc., was all there the day 1.6 was released.

    I mean, stam sorc has/had it's issues, all forms of templar have/had theirs ... DK wasn't stupid OP in 1.6 like it used to be, but it wasn't garbage. It wasn't just that whip went through dodge, it was that the dmg from whip actually felt like damage when it hit. Just my opinion, obviously not everyone is going to agree.
