Battle levelling isn't op.

They're levelled to vr15 with purple gear Max (someone insane might go legendary before 16)

At 16, the gear is better, legendary, legendary higher tier glyphs, willpower/agility sets, all skills and passives you need...

There is quite a diference.

Hmm, I don't want to discount your experience but since Imperial City has been released Battle leveling only applies for level 10-49 and vet ranks 1-13. They have not announced any changes to that, you should not be experiencing any Battle Leveling beyond v14, certainly you should not be seeing any Battle Leveling at v16.

Battle Spirit now is a completely different buff, Battle Spirit is applied while in Cyrodiil and gives these buffs:
-Increase Health by 5000
-Reduce damage taken by 50%
-Reduce healing received and damage shield strength by 50%
-Increase range of abilities with greater than 28m range by 8m in Cyrodiil

Battle Spirit is a buff that everyone in Cyrodiil receives regardless of faction, you can also receive buffs from your alliance owning keeps, owning scrolls, and having the current Emperor.

I can tell you right now that my v16 DK see's no change to his stats in Wrothgar from his stats in the rest of the world, and he only receives Battle Spirit or faction specific buff's based on his factions position in Cyrodiil at that time. If you can document a difference on your v16 you might want to submit a bug report to ZOS.

You don't know his CP or the gear he was using to boost the WB dmg so high. That lvl 14 was on par with your v16 because of battle leveling. Just because you are v16 doesn't make you invincible and capable of squashing low level alts.

You could have thrown your post in one of the dozens of threads just like this, all the information in the post is general knowledge by now.

Maybe look at your own gear, build, CP, play style first. Those are the tools we have to develop characters. WB isn't the issue, it's your ability to counter or adapt to it.

Why does a lvl 14 have to ability to hit harder than most v16's? People grind and spend hours on equip/skill

lines/level/cp/gear etc.. to have a high end character, why do all of that when you can just roll a lvl 10 and has higher stats?

No the issue here is you assume you know what you're doing, and you don't. You LET it hit you. WB is easy to avoid unless 3+ people are spamming it on you, all you have to do is break line of sight or dodge-roll through him. You simply got out played man, deal with it. 11k isn't really that far off from what a vr16 can land. Yes, it's lower.

Seems the issue really is just dodging WBs. Can't two shot you if you don't get hit.

I'm not going to bother responding to you anymore it sounds like your some type of wb spammer and your defending it against me despite me not having any problem with it in the first place. The idea of the thread is that lvl 14's shouldn't be hitting that high not matter cp/gear etc... it shouldn't be a thing. Being competitive doesn't equal being lvl 14 and capable to 2 shotting people.

#1 if he's two shoting you it's your build. Try getting more hp.

#2 Competitive pvp means that lvl 14 needs to hit ALMOST as hard as a v16 to keep it FAIR. Your stats can easily be way higher than his, just get some better gear and eat some food.
#3 I am not on a high horse, you're just attempting to shout down everyone who disagrees with you. Battle scaling is fine.
#4 3 people spamming WB is pretty much death for everyone (except NB, they just vanish) not just you. You got out played, allowed yourself to be surrounded and got crushed. It happens to all of us but it will teach you to be a better player.
#5 I am a Templar I don't use WB. I have to keep people in my jabs while they laugh at me and roll away. It sucks but you will get better at it.
#6 There are many skills which hit just as hard as WB, even if they nerf it you'll still get wrekt by lvl 14 players.

It sounds to me like you just want to steam roll low lvl players. Sorry the Devs have decided they want a fair/balanced encounter.

Battle level Works just fine. in some cases for the better. in some cases for the worse. A mix of gold/purple gear can easily give you V16 looking stats. if you are like some people i know that build only nonvets with gold stuff and even willpower/agility sets nonvet making a charrecter that has cap-like stats isnt that hard. Is it fair? Yes. you still need to do the endless vet grind because you gonna need CPs. Secondly your level 14 OP gold charrecter wont last long. The new battlelevel system makes your stats weaker if you outlevel your gear. It Means that each time this OP lvl 14 dings he grows WEAKER. not stronger. To keep up with V16 golds you would need new gold/purple gear every 2 levels. So. Yea. not gonna happen much. And that my friends is how the new battle level Works. I personally love it.

they still need CPs and good gear that can take ages to farm for. a first time player that just reached level 14 that isnt backed by anyone that been playing longer cant possible kill a V16. its an alt with alot of CPs n knowlegde on how battlelevel Works. So no. casual standard level 14 might even be better off with the old battlelevel
