Treasure maps and are they rare/worth it?
I'm new to the game and found my first treasure map in Mournhold after beating a dolmen and i was just wondering if they're common and if they lead to good loot or anything interesting?

✭✭In my experience they're incredibly rare. In DC I went through Alik'r and Bangkorai without finding a single map.
I think I've found four maps total, and it's not like I don't open chests.1 -

Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis2 -

Malachite Shards are what you need to make Glass Armor once you know the motif. They are the "style material" for glass armor/weapons. You actually need multiple shards (10 I believe) which you then refine into a single Malachite which will make one piece of armor/weapon. This is my first proper mmo so im slowly getting used to pvp and things like guilds and crafting...it's a lot to take it at once lol0 -

On the other hand, I have been amazed at the sheer number of "skyshards" that happen to be located in boxes or crates. Just a weird thought as a RP type.
I haven't found a single glass motif. Have ... maybe 20 shards (I traded 10 to a friend who made a glass destro staff for one of my DK characters).

Hmmmm. Reminds me of the time I found 5 stamina attribute points in a dolmen chest. I'm a magicka build so I was pretty disappointed!2
