If you click to resurrect without a soul gem it costs 500 points from your score, If you resurrect with a soul gem it costs you 499 points. Those are penalties for death with a possible tie breaker from whether you used soul gems or not. Right now you can die enough times to where you have no score left by the time you go to the next round.
Edit: Sorry should have said Right now you can die enough times to where you have no score from previous rounds only the score from your last kill. In other words you can loose your score from all rounds prior to the final round and then you can loose that score if you die enough in the first round of the next arena.
If you didn't loose points for dying your score would always reflect how far you made it in the arena and everyone's could be counted to show how far they got.

I promise you that this is not how it works.
Final Score = Points + (Points/TimeBonus)
Points = 30,000 per stage (except stage 9 where you get 15k) + 750*(# of unused sigils)
TimeBonus = (TargetTime-ActualTime)/TimeDivisor
TargetTime = 5400000 (90 minutes)
ActualTime = your time in milliseconds
TimeDivisor = 10000000
There is no death penalty for "clicking resurrect"... I'm sorry.

I think folks are missing the point I'm trying to make.
Edit: also to the Death penalty thing, I must have misunderstood Could someone tell me what the numbers and the icon means.
Because VMA was meant to have 10 rounds similar to Dragonstar Arena, Round 9 boss is not the actual final boss, the final boss is meant to be the Baron you see at the end of the Arena (look in the main hall, you see all the heads of the bosses on the wall, the Baron is one of them). It makes sense, not sure why we don't have a final boss but because of that we get a -15000 reduction at the end.ColtPython wrote: »TotterTates wrote: »TotterTates wrote: »There is no death penalty other than the time wasted. Does anyone know why right at the end after everything is tallied up you get a flash of a score of like 450k then it is reduced by like 14k to 436k and that is what is sent to the boards?
