Overload (Magicka Overload morph) bug __ Confirm??

Hi all,

I know that problems with Overload are not new. However, this last week it has gone worse to the point it has become unplayable for me. Every time I activate it and use light attacks after a few clicks it just stops working. Cannot attack, cannot activate skills, nothing. Can only untoggle and reactivate it again to make it work. It seems to me that it happens even more if I cast an ability while on Overload (e.g.: Hardened ward). Already died to many times for this....

Anyone else with the same problem?!

I don't know it's the same for you, but the attacks still happen. The animation seems to get stuck. I think the worst thing that happens is when you get locked into a heavy attack for some reason.

I know exactly what he is talking about. It locks up, how to get it to work again is to block i think (I end up hitting like everything)

I also have found that it occurs when I hit the light attacks too quickly, i think it gets confused between light and heavy attack. I have also read other players comment about this on the forums.

Sometimes it's just the animation that get stuck it's true, but some other times there is also no damage done... Anyway thanks for the advice on blocking and trying to do it slower...I'll try that!

..At least glad to know I'm not the only one ..

Yup, I do think some times it actually stops with the damage altogether while other times it's purely animation. Both are annoying and both seem to be happening more often lately. It'd be nice if after months of complaining about a buggy skill it'd get LESS buggy for a change, not more...

No beacause you can't hold your mouse wheel like you do it with you mouse button. I never got stuck in the overload animation since I have it on my mouse wheel. Also makes light attack weaving a lot easier.

I don't use the overload attacks in pvp so am unaware of issues there. In pve I use it by clicking really quickly and have never had an issue. It only ever locks up if I click too long. Latency could potentially turn a fast click into a long click in pvp but I have little experience with using it there. Overload damage is op and ott in pvp.

I stopped using overload because I have been having the same problem. I'll try the blocking technique. Hopefully that will work.

Set mouse scroll up as your second bind for attack and use it only for overload. You won't have any more issues

I wish they would just remove the Heavy Attack altogether. Of about 2000 hours playing ESO I have never ONCE wanted to use a heavy attack, yet every so often it will bug out and get stuck in one, even when I am not spamming the light attacks.

The heavy attack is pretty funny. I was grinding with a hard casting crystal fragger thst used no other aoe besides overload heavy attack for mobs. He would just spin in circles holding down the heavy attack. Was especially funny coz he would keep holding it down or it bugged out and would be hitting nothing long after everything was dead.
