PS4 EU Chillrend is fine. Azura's lags so bad because its full.

That is where you can actually fight other players. You can actually see animations, you don't have wait a full 3 seconds to know if you actually ambushed a player. In a game with combat that relies on spell rotations, it really helps when you can see what spells are being cast.
But i really enjoy what cyrodiil is, or at least, can be. If it means halving the populations of the campaigns i'm all for it. Right now it is completely broken.
I was just playing on the same server as the OP. I got so frustrated I left the game and cancelled my subscription.
GG @ZOS_BrianWheeler GG.

Full? What is your definition of full.
Before anyone claims that large scale PvP will never work and that every game has this problem, here is some footage of early PvP.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vmmQVheKOk
Note this was back in the day where you could chain pull people off walls, there was no death recap, and forward camps were everywhere so that you could get back in the action instantly.
Just look at those numbers. Imagine what the server would do today if those numbers were fighting each other.
Here is the hard truth.
- PvP worked in this game at launch. (yes there were bugs but it didn't massively lag)
- ZOS made changes to the code that ruined it.
- ZOS ignored PvP for a year.
- ZOS is unwilling to revert those changes and has resorted to bandaids (pop reductions, PFX culling, and deer killing) to try to compensate.
- ZOS knows what REALLY killed PvP but is treating it as a sunk cost and reverting the change (whatever it is) is not on the table.
So here we are with threads that disappear and people pretending that the lag isnt a problem...

ZOS view was that the skills people used changed.
This could only come about for two reasons.
1. People unlocking very popular OP skills at the same time.
2. Some bugged out skills became the meta that everyone adopted.
Lets humour each other and assume for just one moment ZOS have gone over the figures and are being honest.
What skills came to the forefront of PVP warfare at the time of 1.2/1.3 ?
What skills AoE were changed at the same time if any.

I only joined ESO in June with console launch so you must understand what you just showed me is like a completely different game

Here are some more. Just look at those numbers.
Cyrodiil was unplayable for me last night. Some players seem to have invested in maximum sprint speed though. They seem to be able to outrun the lag and kill everyone at will.

I went offline after this, there's not much point. It's been like this for a straight week on PS4 now, and it's effecting us all. (Azura's Star, EU, not like that makes much of a difference) Even my friend in the video messaged me saying how laggy it is after he died. so let's hope that this current maintenance will make things smoother. (doubt it)
