Hello fellow scouser.

Cyrodill is even worse now, pretty much any instance including cyrodill is being affected from my gameplay experience.
LAG? That's no lag, you were still able to do abilities occasionally. :')

I went offline after this, there's not much point. It's been like this for a straight week on PS4 now, and it's effecting us all. (Azura's Star, EU, not like that makes much of a difference) Even my friend in the video messaged me saying how laggy it is after he died. so let's hope that this current maintenance will make things smoother. (doubt it)

Prior to that update this game ran flawlessly for me...im talking 50-70+ players on the screen at the same time spamming Impulse and AOE and everything else and the lag was near non-exist
Here are some videos from the Wabbajack days, and there were far more PVP players at that time then there is now. proof it used to work...Fixate and Nicole are in those vids as well.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfPzePmcqO4

ZOS put some kind of anti-bot code or something server side, and in doing so killed the game. What good is getting rid of bots when you have essentially made your game unplayable...its akin to to cutting of your entire midsection from thje waist down just because you have a small patch of skin cancer on your leg...it makes no sense.
im just glad i can look back on those days fondly when PVP was huge battles that were not a lag filled mess...i long for those days....those that never got to play on Wabbajack, Bloodthorn, Dawnbreaker...folks relaly missed out on the best PVP times this game ever had...

Wow... that really explains it to be honest, and I'm surprised that they haven't reverted some of these obvious lag-causing changes and such. There must be another way to deal with issues without breaking the performance!

If they get rid of the anti-bot code it should allow azura's star to be lag free
I honestly don't think its possible for any game maker to have lag free PvP "online", too many variables, Other players system, other players Internet speed etc, maybe someday once all ISP speeds become equal. until then just get use to it or PvE. Shrug... It sucks though since they advertise "PvP 'when you go to buy the game but many cant "PvP" for this reason or that reason.

Actually it is possible and was barely laggy at the beginning of ESO.
All of us that played during the beginning
(april-oct 2014) of ESO fell in love with the massive PVP fights that were everywhere in Cyrodiil. We had forward camps and 30min keep fights with 30k+ ticks and small groups had a chance to destroy a full raid.
Was there lag? HELL NO.
Those of us who are still playing after all the shenanigans from zos still play in hopes of that experience coming back to eso.
Go ahead and ask everyone why Cyrodiil is in the laggy mess it is in. They will tell you its because of (estimates)
1. Aoe caps (april 2015)
2. Lighting patch (Oct-nov 2014)
3. Anti bot patch (may-july 2014)
Band Camp statements: To state "But this one time I saw X doing X... so that justifies X" Refers to the Band camp statement.

Must be your hardware. Oh wait, you are on console.
You mean to tell me that this game lags even when everyone playing is running identical hardware??????
ZOS, your done. Go home. Your game cannot provide what it claims to provide and all your excuses have run out.
If this game lags on consoles there is no fixing it. But I still have people telling me that lag comes from a lack of memory or a weak graphics card.
