In the beginning we can make char, love it and play with it. Have good stats and be satisfied, but then Zenimax will create a new patch, change race passives and class skills, turn some skills from magicka based to be stamina based, nerf or buff armor or different types of damage.
When Zenimax changes our racial passives, class strenghts and weaknesses then it is fair to ask for the option to change race and classes, instead of having to play with our once strong characters that now are nerfed/ less efficient.
My point is validated by this. ESO, like any other MMO, is going to constantly have nerfs/buffs/changes/balancing/etc.
Add class change, and it'll be flavor of the month for everyone. Unless they go the route of WoW, and make it absurdly pricey. Like 7-8k Crowns (or what, about $60?). Make people really think hard about it before just spending the Crowns and jumping ship on a patch/update/DLC. In this regard, I'd probably be more on board with the idea.
So only rich people can change race? Why?

I made my characters because of a character idea, not chasing some FotM.
The only thing that would get me consider changing any characters class was if they added new classes that fit my character idea -better- then the current one... for example, if they were to add a "nature magic" class and class change, I might change my bosmer huntress alt from nightblade to that class. Stuff like that.
But generally, I would prefer to have "extra classes" as "class morph" from existing classes... a little bit like the old "Prestige Classes" from D&D I suppose... but then, I do keep posting that idea when the talk is about new classes, which is not the case in this discussion
