I agree about being perfectly happy when the game was sub only. I miss it really. But that being said why does it bother you if others are happy subbing now? Its their money and im glad they are subbing cause we both know thats better then those not spending any money at all.

Im glad to hear you have offered ZoS ideas on how to better incentivize their sub model but pls don't look down on those of us who do sub.

I disagree on subbing not being valuable to ZoS. Depending on how long people choose to buy(1 month-6 month) its money they can count on where as the store income fluctuates big time from user to user.

The amount of crowns we get from subbing never seems to be enough due to the prices of hot ticket items so i imagine alot of people who sub also buy crowns.

Agree with you here. I can also see what @Gidorick is saying about making a sub more enticing. Crafting bags for instance---those need to be put into the game soon. I would also like to see a boost on crowns awarded or perhaps a discount on DLC. As I said before, for me personally the 10% boost and crowns per month wasn't a bad deal. I still maintain that if I'm enjoying a product, I will find a way to support it---either through a sub or the store.

Out of curiosity since we are talking about F2P/B2P models, what other MMOs have done this better? I know that in SWTOR you are sort of gimped if you don't sub from a quality of life perspective (according to my spouse who plays). I have to say that I don't like being pressured into feeling that I need to sub. But what other F2P games give great boosts to subscribers? I just dabbled with Wildstar and thought they were pretty good to their F2P players and what you could earn by just playing the game. I bought some currency to give me another character slot but managed to upgrade a few things just by earning currency in game as I played. Excellent system. I probably would never have subbed but bought things ala carte through the NCSoft store. Are there other MMOs that stand out ahead of the competition for offering huge incentives to subscribing? If there are, perhaps the Zenimax team could take note.

Seriously? Some here are whining about $15 a month ? If you enjoy playing ESO then thats a cheap "hobby" thats what like 3 espressos or a pack or two of cigs ? The perks are well worth the small pittance of money .

Heck I payed about that for EQ1 from 2000 to 2004 on 3 accounts lol , never complained, its was cheap fun/ passtime.

@Florial . I answered your exact question in this thread here (http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/150450/eso-subscription-benefits-suggestions/p1) back in Feb 2014.

Personally, I think the secret world has pretty great sub benefits... but you have to buy their "issues" (DLC) because you don't get access with the sub.

As ESO Grows the Sub model will become more an more enticing to new members since the DLC can be accessed with a subscription. This means someone can join TODAY, sub for $15, get 1500 crowns, play through IC and Orsinium and unsub... if they can get through that content in a month... they experienced the first 2 DLCs for $15.

What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

To Sub, or not to Sub ...

I don't feel that ESO+ is good enough to pull the B2P and F2P folks in. For me the main reason is time! I'm an owner/op trucker, and while I can take off much time as I desire, I can't always pass up that money. I pull in the spring till about this time in DEC. I don't pull rest of the year or all of winter because who wants to drive in snow and ice with all the risk involve. B2P and F2P just works for me. I will spend much money as I wish on content that is worthy and of value, but I won't Sub and waste money for no good reason.

So rather ESO+ worth it for you is for each person to decide. Crafting storage is nice, if they do it right, but let's hope they don't make the same mistake TRION Worlds did with RIFT when they put in shared storage. That was a utter joke both in size, use, and cost. However I have more faith in ZOS than TRION/RIFT, lol. Than again RIFT does have a fully working LFG tool and one of the best luanchers around with awesome patching and speed! ZOS step up your game for me. :)
