Rubedite swords ALWAYS red?

Always have to color scheme my guy with these new red swords.....
Anyway for them NOT to be crafted in red once you hit VR 15-16?

All V15-V16 weapons are red. No way to change it.

No, as all other weapons the colour matches the colour of the material used to make it.

Have you seen the bright, ruby-red ore nodes and red logs laying around Wrothgar?

It's why tinfoil isn't baby poo green and pennies aren't tangerine colored.

Not alone alot of players my self included want weapon dyes. First ZOS said they be here with shield dyes, then be a few weeks to atleast a month behind shield dyes cause there's more special weapons and color schemes, now there saying costume dyes will be out soon and nothing about weapon dyes at all.

@ZOS please work on weapon dyes tired of carrying a giant red sword on the back of my lore friendly grey metal and brown leather heavy Nord armor. Like I can see how bow and staves be a problem trying to get that 3 color scheme and all or the special weapons like the Alliance weapons from the vaults in IC.

Unfortunately Zenimax has stated they have no plans to introduce Weapon Dyes. This was stated at the time they said Shield Dye was coming.

The glass metal weapons and staves are not all green. They're kind of a shiney off green-tan color, it actually makes it look like a normal sword. The stave has a off green on the top of the staff, but the main body of the weapon is braided in a pinky tan color. The braided portion is very nice looking when it is on your back or in your hands.

This is true

I crafted a v15 glass sword because my vet 9 has one and I liked the green. It came out silver.

Then what's weird is I made a vet 16, glass, rubidite sword, and this time it's silver with a small green band through the center.

When I upgraded my staff and sword - both the Same items but 15 to 16, the texture on the handle both changed a bit too. 16 is more sharp and pearlescent than 15. This was with ancient Orc staff and glass swords, both rubidite and ruby ash

You can try Barbaric style, those are not red because they aren't metal. Or you can go for Agility/Willpower/Endurance weapons, those have always the color of steel no matter which lvl they are.

Which is odd, because if you notice in the dye stations now, you can see an image of your weapon. Also, my weapon tends to become the color of whatever my predominant color selection is... not sure exactly which gear piece it reflects. My gear is black and gold, and my dual wield swords are now black with gold handles after the initial visit to the dye station.

My first V16 Daedric destruction staff was reddish which was not fitting my gear's color. So after 2 other styles that I tried (which were also red), I spent around 350 Sanded Ruby Ash before I finally crafted V16 Glass staff which remained silver/white which was fine for me.

So yeah, most of V16 weapons are red except for glass style.

Only if you're Dual Wielding because the slot is for Off-Hand. A visual error, if you will.
