Well, if you help newbies while trying to farm certain dolmen bosses, you get blamed for stealing exp and ruining immersion.
If you dont, you're also bad for not helping.

I have other VR16 toons and have played since launch. I just get annoyed when things like this happen, even if his intentions were pure 
Well, there are more constructive things you could do.
When you saw that enemies are too strong you could just run away to reset the anchor and wait for more people. Or ask that vr guy to help.
I've explained this already.
But you didnt answer what you expected from him and how he could "make things worse".
He didn't hit the bosses. He stood in front of them then lead them to me and the other. Then sat and watched us get pummelled. 2 atronachs and a spider queen. I don't know how I could've stopped to message him and ask for help. Maybe he was helping, but by pulling them all to us at once we couldn't get out of it.0 -

But if he wasnt there, it would be the same. The mobs would aggro at you and attack you immediately.

He stood in front of them so he got hit then ran round to us and legged it past us. The spider queen then diverted its attention onto us as we were fighting an atronach. The polymorph then did the same thing with a second atronach, which killed us. I managed to revive and finish the boss but the other lowbie couldn't. I had no soul gems.0 -

✭Maybe he was helping then. Maybe he wasn't. I was venting. I wasn't expecting him to help. He made things worse is all. He pulled enemies towards us and watched us die. I didn't think that was helpful. It annoyed me. I vented.

you know that if enemies spawn at a dolmen, they charge you automatically? they dont stand around until you attack them.
So whatever he did, he didnt make the dolmen harder.
You wiped on your own, he didnt steal any xp. so whats your problem?
he didnt even use the last pinion himself (which he could have done, even as you were dead)
he could have killed all the enemies without you getting anything out too. he didnt.

Yeah healing does steal xp but it also allow you to get xp and assures you completion. If the v3 had gone crazy with dps, the level 8's would have to get lucky to get 1-2 hits on mobs or shut down a single pinion in hope of getting achievement done.KoshkaMurka wrote: »

I mean it was in a low level area, which means your area - and since you stood nearby, he wanted to drag the enemies over to you. Other option was to single shot everything on the spot, and 0 kills/xp/loot for you two.
If you insist that he was trolling you, or was doomtraining you, well you can report him and in the future don't stand that close to enemies. In case he chooses to run away and ride off, the enemies would get aggro by you and the other low level in that area.0 -
