I haven't finalized a build, but I know they are nerfing Steel Tornado, and I always like trying out unusual combinations. Most of the time they fail. Currently I am using the Volatile Familiar to help kite mobs with a bow; the stun when the pet dies is useful. Atronauch also gives a stun and light attack weaving helps keep it ready to drop.

Thinking of adding Twlightlight Matriarch for that low health boost. Both morphs use shock damage, which you can add to your weapon enchants and boost with the Disintegrate Passive from the Storm Calling skill line and the Elemental Expert star in the Apprentice Constellation of the Champion System. Having a pet on the bar increases health/stam recovery, and the Hunt Leader set gives another bit of stam/health every five seconds.

The 5 piece bonus isn't that awesome. If they dropped the 5 second cool-down was dropped or the gain was doubled, it would be much better. But, if you want to try a stam pet build, getting something back is better than nothing.

I doubt that unless the set is boosted it will be a popular/high end build, but sending in pets, using Crit Surge, dropping Arrow Barrage on them, then either blowing up the pet/summoning an Atro for the stun and keeping them in the Barrage with Bombard, is kind of fun. Less boring than Crit Surge --> Spamnado.

The bonus would be great if it was bigger or had no cool-down. Pets don't attack rapid-fire, and the bonus is small, so, the configuration makes zero sense.

With two pets and an average of one pet attack per second, very nice (2432 stamina and 2504 health per second). You still have to slot pets and hit the targets with AoE to get the bonus, so it isn't a given. And as a stam character if your pets keep dying it gets expensive to resummon them over and over.
