Why do people keep talking about the barbour shop as if its a must have?
Noone can see your charactrer anyway, can you recognise any of your mates from their Avatar alone?
Maybe the armour or the colours of the armour, but not the face.
In Cryodil you know its worse, this beautiful game is being played at resolutions that would make a game from 1980 cry
I can see my character the entire time I'm playing. Why do people keep talking about the barbour shop as if its a must have?

Yes, I absolutely can for a number of friends who I often run content with. Off the top of my head I can think of about a dozen other players' characters who I recognize the instant I see them, and many more who I can recognize if I take a moment to try to remember. I often run group dungeon events in my guild, and I have a terrible time remembering most people's character names, so when I'm trying to figure out which character goes with which player (because guild chat shows player names and group shows character names), I usually have an easier time figuring it out by looking at the avatars.can you recognise any of your mates from their Avatar alone?
Completely false. I can only recognize other people's characters from their faces. Gear gets swapped out and dyes changed far too often for me to try to recognize people by their armour.Maybe the armour or the colours of the armour, but not the face.

Gotta agree with that one... even though the underwater stuff in AoC was pretty basic, it still was neat to have! And I always liked the clothing options there... it had some pretty good points, for all that it is rather dated by now...The thing that struck me about AoC (I've been trying other MMOs since I started ESO to see how they are) was the underwater swimming at the VERY beginning of the game and the fact that armor and clothes are ON the character and not body replacements. It really made those two things even more lacking in ESO for me. Their omission is so hard to ignore now.
I could imagine ways how someone might arrive at that conclusion, but I can't post them without getting scolded by the forum mods (again)...UltimaJoe777 wrote: »How exactly do you come to this conclusion? And RPers for one are especially needy when it comes to looks and showing off!
