Wrothgar WB random reset

I'm not sure if anyone else experienced that but it seems these guys have a habit of randomly resetting every once in a while. I tried to solo a few of them and several times when I got them to rather low health they just randomly went back up to 100%, which is f...fricking annoying because it takes forever to solo them.
Now before this gets brought up I am aware they're supposed to be group fights but to the best of my knowledge there is no rule against trying to solo them, which I personally find fun, but incredibly frustrating when something like that happens. Does anyone know if there's some sort of a timer/reset if you're not in a group or it's just a bug or something?

✭✭✭✭✭Like with all other WB's they will reset if you get them out of their 'area' while chasing you. That's all I can think of.

✭I've noticed if you spend too much time on the adds, it will reset. Must be some sort of timer on how long the boss goes without getting it. Happened to me at Edu.0 -

Hmm that might be true. Happened to me at Poacher's and Nyzchaleft(sp), I may have been paying too much attention to ads I guess. I wonder if this is intended or just a slip in code where it considers "not doing damage directly to boss"="not doing damage at all"=reset?0 -

✭Yeah, I was working on the healers around Edu, and then the archer was annoying me, so I targeted him, and then all of a sudden it reset. But I probably didn't hit Edu for at least 2 minutes because I had worked on the ogres that come in on the right hand side too.
It's tough to say if it's an error because prior to Wrothgar, world bosses were usually by themselves.0 -

✭✭✭@ThePonzzz, fair enough. I wonder if it is specifically a boss-doesn't-get-hit timer or perhaps a fight-goes-on-too-long one. I suppose if it really is the first it should still be avoidable. Can DoT the boss if nothing else.0
