New Guild Update Suggestions

So first time checking out the guild as a guildmaster, and I was surprised by the lack of tools available to affectively manage a guild...

For starters, as far as I can see, there is no way to know how long someone has been inactive for? And no way to actually gauge how helpful/active someone is as part of the guild/in groups without actually investigating first-hand requiring you to be online?

I guess the biggest shock to me is the lack of a "fair use" system for the guild bank, in that you can only take certain items if you have a "positive balance" which is gained by donating items, based on their gold value. So if you put in 100 gold worth of items, you can take out 100 gold worth of items, +- the 100 gold or so "karmic" alignment.

So for now, I guess it is playing by ear and only really giving the writes of being able to take items to those who have "proven" themselves, which is really quite tedious and counter-productive to say the least.

Hopefully some of these can be addressed in the near future, as right now you are kind of relying on everyone being fair and kind to everyone else...

This is just my opinion....right or wrong

The whole move from being in "one" guild to five really offers a lot.

I think there is little to no value in knowing how long someone has been inactive as those thought processes to bear in decisions to remove someone from a guild have very little consequence. My point is this....if they were very active and now inactive but later become active, you're going to add them back.

I do think and have observed over the years from playing games with guilds that G Leaders tend to use poor management processes to keep or kick members. One of those being a log-in(Inactive time frame)

If the adding someone to a Guild is thorough but not over the top, then those players stay in always. If you fill up and need to kick someone, then use the guild notes and ranks to make those determinations. To me this game keeps it simple.
Talk to them, and play with them....if on console use group chat to meet them and others in the guild...if on PC use text chat the same or a third party chat if the guild has one.

    Just keep it simple...
-if they are new...keep them at whatever new rank you have set....if no one has a note or knows them....who cares if they are removed as they dont know you and you don't know them
-if at X rank, those members are subject to be replaced with no reason.
-If at rank X1 then perhaps a mail letter is sent in game for # of days to respond
-if at rank X2 then a mail letter and another guild officer should decide

Thats all just my opinion tho

I find that Guilds have complicated this by requesting or requiring X gold each week for Guild traders, and to be honest, if the transaction amongst the guild members aren't happening (Unless its strictly a trading guild) there is little reason to stay or keep ppl in the guild. Trade guilds is a whole diff topic.....IMO...pretty much a waste of a guild slot in many cases.

Now bank management NEEDS A LOT of work and updates. Your ideas as well as many others !!!
