Went to the link, selected United States of America, and then Florida and I get

This state/province is not valid for this contest.

What the heck? Every other state works except Florida......

You can thank Florida's game promotion/sweepstakes laws.

Whats different about this contest that is shady enough for Florida to say no to it?

You can get away with anything in Florida as a contest..... So there must be some shady details for this lol

New York and Florida require surety bonds to be deposited with the state for the value of the prize ($1,000,000) which means most sweepstakes exclude residents of these states.

Rhode Island is similar I believe.

    Thanks @deadlock007

Reading further, that makes total sense. They wont guarantee the money is there, nor secure its payout after winning so anyone who is smart should look at ZOS track record of following through and expect the same here LOL

I have lived in Florida my whole life and have never ran across a contest or sweepstakes that we are excluded from until now. Granted I don't go around searching for contests to enter, but still, in 36 years this is the 1st one I have seen.

From personal experience, I can say it is very difficult and there are a lot of hoops to jump through in order to run a contest with a payout over $5,000 in the state of Florida.

The sweepstakes jackpot of $1,000,000 is to be paid at 50k/year over 20 years. I doubt they are prepared to buy a surety bond for the full amount.

You're welcome and yeah pretty much lol. Did you see the part about bugs and programming errors can cancel the contest..... Who could imagine that anything to do with this game might have those.....
