Where to get worms faster

i can gather a stack of all fishing bait types relatively fast, except for ocean(worms)
i know where there are hundreds of torchbugs and butterflys for insect parts(river)
i know where there's a lot of squirrels that spawn fast for guts(lake)
and where to kill hundreds of spiders for crawlers(foul water)
but running around trying to find the odd worm in cloth nodes is waaaaaay too slow, anyone know a good place to farm worms?

stabbykitteh✭✭✭✭Some things that helped me: Make sure you grab alchemy plants too, they can also have worms in them. Find spots with lots of undead, they'll have worms in their inventory sometimes.
They've also patched it so worms appear in higher level plants which also helps.Edited by stabbykitteh on May 25, 2014 4:09AM0 -

✭Draug is a great source. Can really wrack up some worms in Eastmarch if you need to.2 -

✭If it's a level concern. I'd say stick to alchemy herbs and clothing nodes. You'll at least get worms and crawlers.0 -
class101✭✭✭I think they want them to 10% drop while others baits are 100% to balance the difficulty but imo this makes fishing even more boring than it is actually
In 1.1 they did not even fixed all the buggy fishing achievements we reported since day 1
Imo, save the worms and DO NOT use them until they really fix fishing, you will save a lot of time !
Do not fish until they really fix it is a good idea too !

Harvesting plants takes a long time for very little gain in worms, I have even tried asking in trade guilds to buy them with little luck.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

Edit: hold on we are talking about the same worms here aren't we? The only place I found where they reliably dropped was the Forgotten Crypts in Deshan but I am too high level for that now.

I actually had more zombies with 10+ gold on them than worms!1 -

I literally just ask everyone if they have any and offer to buy them, I usually just end up getting them for free.
