That's not so bad. What about the character points and skill points that you would be getting from the vet levels?
Actually they said they may NOT raise CP cap with EVERY DLC, so keep that in mind (ESO LIVE #29).
You have a good question with the 15 or 16 skill points total you get from hitting each of the Vet ranks. Haven't seen that addressed yet.
Anyone seen info on that?
The only peeps that are crying about the vet ranks are the ( I WANT IT ALL NOW) people.
Which in today's world are the biggest whiners (very vocal) but not your core players.
Your core players, started playing in beta, continue to subscribe monthly.
Your whiners play free.
Keep the Vet system.
The quest are fun, even for the 8th time.
The whiners grind which means most are using some kind of exploit to level faster.
Yes and even when zos gave all the low CP people a bonus to get the CP's and xp faster.
Too late.Here's why:
When you look at the map of Tamriel there are three very large areas that were left blank. Orsinium took a section of the northern one. If you take the approximate size of Orsinium or any one of the faction's zones and then fill the large blank areas with those sections, you can see that there can easily be another 11 DLC's and that's not counting the two islands. So we're looking at 13 very possible DLC's and at one every 3 or 4 months, this version of ESO can easily go for another 39 to 52 months. That's well into getting close to the the release of the next generation of consoles.
Now if you keep the Veteran Leveling system and add two per DLC, we can have be at Veteran Rank 42 (currently VR16 + 26 for the 13 possible DLC's) and possibly continue on from there when ESO2 is released.
Add with the continued use of accumulated Champion points, when someone want to play another character they can quickly and easily get them up to & into the action.
When you look at it, it just seems like the natural progression and the way things were meant to be.
