    TESO is imbalanced enough as it is. I think we should expect the classes and abilities we already have to be fixed and balanced before adding more stuff.

    So your suggestion is to make racial imbalance even worse? They need to balance the passives, but the passives are not nearly as big of a deal as imbalanced racial ultimates would be. MMOs have to have balance.

    no you could also balance things out like vampire is now.
    a good example for this is the Altmer. in TES they always had the highest mana with a daily abilty to regen it fast. but this racial had it's price -> weakness to magicka. things like this you can actually balance. but they are to damn afraid to put any negative passives on a race with very strong passives
    and for a racial passive if it's not strong they actaully lose out another strong ultimate like meteor or dragonleap (for DK for example) so it's not just adding things is the option to choose. diversaty is always good in a game

    Just FYI, the regen ability is exclusive to Skyrim and did not appear in Daggerfall, Morrowind or Oblivion. In Morrowind and Oblivion they also had elemental weaknesses. They had elemental weakness, disease resist and bonus magicka in Oblivion, that + magic weakness in Morrowind and only Paralysis immunity in Daggerfall. In Skyrim, they had no weaknesses, nor disease resist.

    Most people are bitching about the racial passives, the last thing I want is a damn powder keg when it comes to ultimates.

    While the elderscrolls series had racials you could activate most forgot to use or didn't want to because of the massive CD.

    This would create even more race imbalance then there already is. Racial choice should matter as little as possible.

    been reading the responses and alot of concerns seem to be about balance. if u look up the specials in skyrim thats the idea i was going with. this way it would balance but also keep with the lore.so here is a list i was thinking of suggesting to see if this helps

    Altmer - magick regen. Argonian - health regen Bosmer - Command beast. Breton - Abosorb magic attack

    Dunmer - either a flame shield or summon ghost. Imperial - unsure cause the always had a personality ability

    Kajiit - eye of fear (stun effect) Nord - increase damage output Orc - physical resistance boost Redguard - stamina regen

    of course length of effect and all would be best up to the developers to keep things fair.

    I don't want to give even more importance to race. Plus the inevitable balancing issues they will have to deal with when it's implemented.

    Only if they were made to not be very powerful or game changing, so more for some fun little bit of utility, or lore. At most, a slight advantage.

    I really don't remember. I think Breton was something like 75% reduced magicka costs for 10 seconds
