Imo it was worth it. Your character will be scaled to vr15 in these zones, so you can participate at any level.
And speaking of IC, its not only a "pve zone with pvp", it also includes 2 awesome dungeons. And you will get tel var stones (IC currency) which you can use to buy high level materials. Those materials are pretty expensive so you can make some extra gold.

there is a mechanics in place in IC and Orsinium called Battle leveling, which increases your stats to be able to do these two zones even in lower levels. The gear that drops there is also scalled to your level. Yes, there are gear rewards that drops there.

No, because good gear drops in repeatable content (Orsinium dailes, maelstorm arena, IC dungeons).

Well, you will get tel var sacks for every quest of IC questline.
Bosses also drop these stones.
And there are treasure scamps that can drop a very rare rune that costs 30-40k gold.

This is my dream. Grinding that makes me rich!

A friendly advice - "Repora" runes sell pretty fast and can be bought for 400 tel vars each at the tel var merchant.
Every IC quest is rewarded with 300 tel vars (1k for the last quest). +some tel var drops from mobs.

I like it more now, that before, as I mostly play PVE and am not a PRO PVP player, so when I was in IC few moths ago, it was too crowded with enemy players for me, I always got killed by a huge enemy group. I totally agree! When I entered IC for the first time (which was like about 2-3 months ago), I got killed immediately after I left the base. Killed by enemy players of course. Tons of enemy players. It wasn't fun. It was annoying. Then I decided to wait until the first wave of players passes. It happended indeed and there is more fun for me now. Perhaps IC is not crowded at the moment, but we cannot say that it's empty. We can farm, grind, quest there, collecting TV stones while being not that much exposed to be killed and "robbed" of TV stones by other players. Recently I've been there every day and every day I saw small groups of players of each faction walking by or fighting against each other. Now you can literally play this cause before it was a huge battlefield when you needed to revive every few seconds.

In most cases enemy players attack you. So it's reasonable to sneak or avoid open spaces for most of the time if you cannot handle with at least one player. But recently I encountered AD player (I'm in EP) who was literally sitting at the chair and observing me while I was fighting with the mobs. He didn't attack me but helped to kill DC player who ganked me That was... kind Cause most enemy players use tactics of ganking you while your health is low...

LOL I don't mind being attacked either but it's not - let's say - honourable when other players just sneak behind your back, wait until your health bar is low while struggling with daedra and then finish you off. But it's PvP - other rules prevail there, more ruthless ones

I've been trying to save Orsinium quests for what I'm higher level like V15-16. Although I can still run around and collect things and kill things at my skill level and crafting level.
