Was it worth the money? My highest character is only level 13 and I feel a bit worried that when/if I get a max level character, these dlc packs will already be obsolete?

I have no idea anymore. I will just keep on trucking with my new Nightblade

might have been a rushed buy buuut thankfully orsinium isn't level dependant for the most part as the place scales you to be able to handle the enemies, IC is a tricky one since it's not an easy place to play in
PLEASE REPLY TO ME WITH @dsalter otherwise i'm likely to miss the reply if its not my own thread

wrothgar is a really nice place to run around and discover and do world bosses

IC is actualy a great place to level up after you did the main quest in coldharbour and are veteran 1

When i was v2 i could easily solo up to 6 mobs in the sewers and get a lot of xp and tv stones this way

The tv stones come in handy when you are vr16 after like a week,

    So good buy
Beesting, Bosmer Magica DK, AD EU, crafter
Slager, Dunmer Magica DK, DC EU, pvp
Farmer, Dunmer Magica DK, AD EU, trials build

Every major patch looks like the end of the world but somehow i just cannot stop playing.

Orsinium is amazing and you can play it from lvl 1 if you really want. IC....is something that's a learning experience; that or a zergfest just to try and have some chance of surviving.
I have departed into the great unknown that is outside the game and the forums, and wish you well in your Tamriel adventures!

Haha, well I thought with the 5.5k crowns I got with my purchase that instead of putting it in pointless things i´d buy more content.

Well, I got a lot of leveling to do..just discovered the wonderful world of Nightblade!....Oh, is that my mage..

I liked Orsinium with the battle levelling. Means I can start new characters there in fresh content. Run around with a group in all the dungeons and you'll level in no time, or partake in the amazing story line.
Keep in mind, levelling a new alt in Wrothgar will be slightly harder because everything is scaled to VR16, but that just makes it more fun.

I think I will try the dlc right now! No point in running around in the same place for the third time..I need to make characters from another alliance XD

Just a quick question. How does the gear system work? Like..wont I just get high level gear that I am unable to use outside Orsinium? And when I am high level I cant get the gear cause I already got it when I was lower?

Prob better to ask prior to purchase. It's fun stuff but bad for your cash flow because you don't 'need' them yet.

It's not bad in the long term though.

Meh, I love the game so I dont feel that they are wasted money. My problem is just getting a character to the level where I can enjoy that content since I am always making new ones or playing old ones x3

Good for you, don't regret that decision!
I did the same with Imperial City when my only char was at about 40lvl. At that time IC was far too difficult for me cause I was able to stay alive for max 10 seconds and then I was killed by a daedra or another player, despite the fact that I was scaled up as it happens in Cyro. Now my char is VR5, I've been playing IC a lot recently, sometimes I am slayed by other players but not that much and not so often as it used to before. Sometimes I am even able to kill VR16 players which brings me a huge satisfaction :) however not doing this for TV stones yet. I'm also able to deal with daedra by myself, but it's not that simple though. You just need to wait as I did. You can also team up with other players, form a group and it would be much easier for you.
Orsinium is level-scaled zone so you can enter that area and play successfully at any level. If you're a sorc, you might be interested in crafting the julianos set there as well (as I did). I also bought Orisnium but I haven't played that yet cause I want to finish cadwell's silver and gold first. But I know for sure that I will dig in both IC and Orsinium as soon as I level up my char a bit more. So what would be the point in waiting since I can benefit from both DLC's even now, without playing them "as intended".
    Good luck!

It all depends on what is fun.

I don't like stressing about TV stones in IC, AND I tend to play with friends on skype, so I fire it up and move the 'call" icon to cover up how many stones I have. So I don't worry about them.

I have a character that i've played in IC (mostly) since he was lvl 10 (he's vet 5). I alternate between IC with friends (lately just me and one other) and going back to EP to do the 'main' quests & skyshards (kind of a focused almost rush) so I get the skill points. Got another dunmer DK who I've also pretty much played since 10th level (she's 14th now); I've never finished the IC 'starter' quests. She's basically my goto character for late night solo play. I wander into the sewers and find some other EP (or group, or zerg) to tag along with. I chose skills for her that are not so depended on level (like Fire clench and obsidian shard and talons) so I'm kind of in a helper role. Once most peeps (even high level peeps) see that I'll hold back, follow their lead and actually be useful, they are pretty cool with me hanging with them. She's got 5 night's silence (so she can run while stealthed), warlock jewelry and seducer for the rest. Suppose I could go with more of the Warlock, but I just hate seeing Breton light armor on a Dunmer. She just will not wear it.

And she's fun, and dies a lot and that's okay.

Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

imho it was a rushed buy.
i wouldn't worry about the areas. my guess is that they will still be relevant in 6months+++.
however, as much as love eso, it isn't for everyone - just liek every single game in existence.

with all the content you still haven't seen and with as little as you have seen already, i don't think you're already able to make an educated guess on if you actually want more of it or not.
further, there is the chance that IC/orsinium will be on a discount not too far in the future.

tl;dr: the zones will still be useful, but tbh just waiting until you buy them might have been a better idea.

Orsinium is well worth it, and always will be. The way that it is scaled allows for any level player to enjoy it. It's also a really cool zone, and the quests and stuff are quality.

IC on the other hand....not even remotely worth the price. Minuscule content, not fun whatsoever, and the gear you grind relentlessly for is extremely lackluster(though this is just personal opinion, I suppose).

It's too late now, but I would've suggested just subbing ESO+. You get access to both DLC's, in addition to the perks of the subscription. You get 1500 crowns with it each month, so if you decided after a few months to cancel your sub, you'd still have enough crowns saved up to buy whichever DLC(s) you wanted.

IC to me is meh, great for getting crafting v16 materials. I go there to farm mats. Takes me an hour to an hour and a half to get enough to make new v16 gear.

Orsinium is freakin awesome. I agree with people that say Orsinium is the most Elder Scroll type area to date.

I think they are worth the purchase, esp if they do carry out new content for IC

These DLC's give you more freedom to level however you choose! IC is good for grinding out mobs and fighting enemy players and Wrothgar is a non-level dependent zone. So, you can go wherever you want, whenever you want essentially.

    Just have fun with it!

Well if you do the new DLC now you'll be out level for your home factions questing, but if you don't do it now the content will be dead, or in the case of IC is already dead. Then there's the 2 other factions quest lines you'll likely out level. However you could just level to max in either DLC and ignore the rest of the game if you don't mind losing skill point, and skill lines. Same issue with PVP.

They're starting to talk about changing max level to 50 which should then take all the Veteran (v1-v16) content and lower it 50, or at least i'm assuming, so vet content will be more optional.

    Do what is fun.

I have a lot of fun running around IC with my little pixie dunmer DK (well she's tiny, and she wears medium Imperial - she just ends up looking like a pixie to me) despite having never done much of the base EP questing, and not any of the base IC questing.

There are still players in IC. I like it more now, that before, as I mostly play PVE and am not a PRO PVP player, so when I was in IC few moths ago, it was too crowded with enemy players for me, I always got killed by a huge enemy group. So now it feels more relaxed in there. And there are the mobs too, so PVE good for me :).

Orsinium is awesome, great graphically, great quests, bosses, new motifs and dungeons. Unfortunatelly only one dolmen (The unfinished dolmen with group boss, I love the dolmen fights). But overal awesome!
