I never spammed in chat and I'll never do it again!
I'm leveling my new Nightblade (a Redguard named Alzzll - "The Shade", transliterated from Arabic) and I'm not even using the chat. It's not even opened to check what others are saying.
And, besides the terrible lag I'm having in Glenumbra, while questing the Faolchu sequence, all of sudden, I'm kicked off from the server with this... lame excuse. It's lagging so much that animations and their effects are not being applied correctly, like my Dark Cloak for example.
I don't really want to believe that such situation is relying on the number of messages of zone, rather on the messages posted by individual players.

I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology) because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).

✭✭Note that if you have a disconnection, say for 10 seconds, and you don't get kicked, but instead reconnect, ESO will register all the actions your character did for the whole duration of the disconnect.
So if you lag like crazy, and use skills, try to open containers / doors / etc, the server will think you sent all the messages at the same time and that you're spamming.
It sucks, but, heh.PC EU - Zahraji of the Void, aka "Kitty", the fluffiest salmon genocider in town.

✭I was having an issue with constant disconnection but because I was being stubborn and playing under wifi. Now I'm cabled and I don't have that much of lag with my character in Orsinium or my second in Rivenspire.

✭In case you have been disconnected/ game kicks you off and you got a message saying you spammed the chat, ignore it and wait 1-2 min, log back in.
I think everyone who have played ESO long enough have tried this, it is very normal. I just wish ESO would change the message and write something less harsh, since a lot players who get that message are not spammers. First time I got the message, I was so scared and thought I was banned

ElfFromSpace✭✭✭✭If you have too many adddons that are collecting data it will boot you as a spammer. You may need to have those addons delay their data, or turn them off temporarily. Things like price checkers do this a lot.Former GM Elder Scrolls Exchange0 -
