Are you (the OP) sure this is the game for you? Any MMO/RPG I've ever played was a grind fest.

Thats why things never change...because players just keep saying that...trying to change something isnt a bad thing...if we all agree maybe things start to change because the old systems isnt working!

Assuming you need an average of 130 mats per piece of crafted armor, and assuming 300g per material, it's only 40k gold to make a single piece of armor. Considering this is going to be your best endgame set, 40k per piece is nothing. That's pretty much what the dropped set pieces were going for pre-patch.
Example: everyone was using V14 martial knowledge which was selling 40k per piece unupgraded. Now, everyone uses V16 Julianos which is a crafted set but costs 40k in mats to create unupgraded. These are equivalent costs, just different methods of obtaining them.
3. The RNG isn't that bad, but I do agree it could use some improvement to help casual players (without actually handing them everything for free).
3. This promotes crafting specialization which is what ZOS wants. One person can make Ancient Orc belts, while another can make Ancient Orc boots, etc. This means you don't actually ever have to learn the full motif yourself.
4. If the game didn't have hard dungeon, what would the hardcore players do? Nothing. We NEED hard content. Too bad if it's a daily. Just run the non-vet version and stop crying. Or get better. Or help your noob groups learn the mechanics.
5. BOP was a mistake for this DLC. Fortunately, most of the new sets are junk, so you don't really need to actually obtain them. But there are some useful IC sets that are super difficult to obtain. Those should be tradeable.

I understand, change is something that should always be considered, to have an open minded philosophy isn't bad.
Ultimately what it comes down too is having .ore options and keeping old or not latest dlc content fresh.
The first year of diablo 3 was an epic failure for everything except flashy attacks and smooth combat. Rng was the biggest of all ***. They've drastically revamped several things and it isn't as bad as it was. This game is only 18 months and I assume the staff is cut to the bone due to financial reasonings. I think now, with consoles being out, and fully functional (for the most part) we are going to see ESO evolve and open the doors to endless options. Each dlc is a step in a good direction and they can only build on what they have...
Like all things, only time will tell.

For the most part I agree.. except 4.
Most hard content in this game isnt really hard. Just downright stupid. 90% of me and my guild runs for clearing icp and wgt in vet is simple.... BURN. Before any mechanics matter. That isnt skill or L2P... Just bring 2 sorcs and a templar running spell cure and your set to face roll. Any clown can stand and nuke. To explain here are some examples:
1. Adjudicator: max force lock and BURN. Dont bother with adds, dont bother with tanking. Just dont stand in front of boss and... BURN.
2. Planar inhibitor.. BURN. Dont bother with portals just need to take turns taking aggro. ( most of the time heck we dont even bother with that. 2 sorc dps turn on overload boss dead in 30+ seconds).
3. Molag kena, kill atro, burn boss, once 30% ignore atro BURN.
4. Flesh sculptor, kill first atro then BURN....
I can go on and on, ranging from vDSA all the way to the latest vet dungeons.. There's tons of cool mechanics and stuff but no one is doing them because they are ridiculous. Every strategy at the moment for most farm runs revolves around BURN. I still havent done a single vICP run where the mechanics for the flesh sculptor are actually done. So its not too much about skill. Its do u have enough gold to max yellow gear with yellow enchants? are u rolling a face roll build that focuses on DPS? sweet. Your set to do farm runs.

haha dang son I like your way of burn(: On topic, yes I do wgt everyday as well and we just burn through everything with my friends usually we go 3 DD sorc (1 offheal) and 1 tank, its become so repetitive and mechanical that no death runs occur 90% of the time and we can even watch a movie at the same time because there is no need to pay attention to any mechanics, we simply burn everything with overload. So yea BoP needs to go, IMO you should have access to the dungeon's loot once u are able to progress smoothly through the dungeon, not grind it 300+ with no divines SPC yet.
Hey ppl!
Before i start talking about the subject that brings me here . I have to give ZOS my congratulations for the excellent work in the last two DLS , IC was good but Orsinium is amazing. Keep up this kinda of good work!
Now i can not stop thinking that this game is following a wrong path, and this will end badly for ZOS and us that love this game so damm bad :'( Since the last patch (IC) the grind that was already there was taken to levels that will destroy this game in a near future...
1º - VR16 Mats- Crafting sets was one of the things that was great in this game now its one of the most annoying, dont get me wrong, i dont like to get the things that i need in one day, like to work for it, but this grind for mats is soooo bad...Orsinium moobs drops/nodes and Vr16 dungeon drops are a joke...i can kill a tone NPC's and get 6/7 drops for deconstructing...WTF! and if you have other chars to craft gear this is a major disappointment. Let me play the game not spending hrs for weeks to grind mats...I could buy the mats but i need money to buy other things because i get the crapy RNG gear, and when i dont i need to decon for mats and i cant sell...
2º Dailys/Pledges/Pvp rewards RNG must stop...you have one grind inside another...Pledges random armor/traits...Orsinium dailys random traits and that if you get the drop...Pvp random everything...ZOS this isnt the way you are not making players happy, and you know that!
3º Motifs drops are a joke in Orsinium and the AP cost for one page is....I will not even say anything ... seriously??? The system in place for pledges is a good one way not have the same for all???make them drop with us playing your game not grinding some dungeon...
4ª While there are several dungeons that are easy, the new ones are to hard for random groups, when yo get COA,IC,WGT in pledges almost anyone does them..if if you do most will give up in the 1º or 2 bosse...we must be able to do dungeons with random people because you have grouping tool for us to use and i may not have time to group with my guild mates in every run that i do...most hard bosse are just dps races and thats a bad thing its not team work is just burning bosses so they cant do anything...i mostly tank and heal in dungeons and i can see in many runs that i will not end the dungeon with the group i am with...i dont leave ppl, but many players do, i know that is frustrating for many dps and eventually the rest of the group to see this happening. End gess what i dont get the best gear that i need to complete the sets because i cant finish the dungeon and if i do i get the rng BS to end the day...
5º For last we got the BOP items now that helps alot the RNG system...really ZOS? dont try to make the dlc last with this kinda of...worse thing ever! Maybe by the end of the next year we may have all the items that we need from this 2 last DLC's.
Please ZOS stop this random crap we dont need busy work, we need to be able to enjoy the game without endless GRINDS.
Whats your opinion in this points guys?
Thanks...cya ppl! And sry for my english.
