    The worst thing is that it doesn't make any sense. Trade can work just fine without loans. It wouldnt be as expansive as we're used to, but it would still exist.

    I heard some quest NPCs freaking the hell out at someone in German the other day right by the hostel in Wrothgar with the daily quest broker. Scared the living kitten poo out of me for a moment. They sounded like they meant business.

    It would be nice to live in a place that isn't so dependent on credit. There would be far fewer problems. Some places don't have it and people have to save first.

    It used to be said by Angier Stower at the bank of Daggerfall, but it got so annoying that they made all NPCs shut up when you open their store or bank. Then they nerfed her dialog to just "Welcome to the bank of Daggerfall,"
    making the silencing of NPCs completely unnecessary. At least add an option to toggle it in the settings, as it is not even possible to make an add-on for this.
