Anything I can change to my Magicka Templar? Need help!

ZeFeZ
ZeFeZ
Hello,

I was wondering if there is anything I should change to this PvP build?

This is with Inner Light and Orzorga's Red Frothgar Food and all points into Magicka. I'm a Magicka Imperial Templar.
All gear is Legendary and Veteran 16.

Duel Wield Bar Stats:

Mundus Stone: The Atronach

Maximum Magicka: 31,193
Maximum Health: 24,236
Maximum Stamina: 9876

Magicka Recovery: 1849
Health Recovery: 333
Stamina Recovery: 514

Spell Damage: 2738
Spell Critical: 48,3%

Restoration Staff:

Maximum Magicka: 30,631
Maximum Health: 22,647
Maximum Stamina: 9876

Magicka Recovery: 1820
Health Recovery: 333
Stamina Recovery: 514

Spell Damage: 2471
Spell Critical: 48,3%

Equipment:

Magnus:

Heavy Helmet: Legendary Magicka Enhancement
Heavy Shoulders: Legendary Magicka Enhancement

Juliano:

Light Chest: Legendary Magicka Enhancement
Light Waist: Legendary Magicka Enhancement
Light Hands: Legendary Magicka Enhancement
Light Legs: Legendary Magicka Enhancement
Light Shoes: Legendary Magicka Enhancement

Everything is in Divines.

Duel wield: 2x Magnus Nirnhoned Disease.
Restoration Staff: Magnus Nirnhoned Deals Magic Damage and Restores Magicka

As for the Magnus set the 4th Piece doesn't seem to register in Spell Damage might be an UI problem or it's just broken atm not sure.

Any suggestions on what to change? or how to imrpove it? All the help is wanted! :)

Put a different enchant on your second DW. The Debuff doesn't stack and the enchants will likely fire at the same time.

Change one to poison, an elemental effect, or return of resource. (I am assuming you actually strike with the weapons and not just using for extra SD. If you are using for extra SD, your enchants never proc.)
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.
I am neither warm, nor fuzzy...
Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

You could swap 1 heavy for 1 medium to use that undaunted passive for extra 2% attributes
    PC,EU, EP
Der-über-Zwerge-springt (Argonian, Magplar), Surtur Velothi (Dunmer, Magdk), Jaqene H'ghar (Imperial, Stamblade), Puppyslayer (Orc, Stamdk), Dagoth Era (Dunmer, Magblade), Æthmon Trevas (Altmer, Magsorc), Der-Zuletzt-Lacht (Argonian, Magden), Sir-Lanzeflott (Redguard, Stamplar)

I would, currently leveling my undaunted got 1 Medium Magnus ready for when I reach that mate.

I personally dont see the need for Nirn on the resto staff if using it for support/healing. If you are actually casting damage abilities, it is a different story. Precise is likely better. Other than that and going 5/1/1, this is pretty much exactly what I am running. I usually swap Julianos for Kagrenacs when I am healing dungeons. Kagrenacs is less DPS, but a little better with resources and utility. Otherwise, you are on the right track.

You get 18% spell resistance from nirn on weapons, why it's better than precise in PvP, even if you're only healing. Besides I dont think anyone runs a 100% heal only bar.

I would also go Kagrenacs over Julianos in PvP. The 5 piece bonus and the recovery is better than some crit and tiny bit more sp.

The build: Unless you're running drinks or tri-stat food you need more stamina or stamina recovery. Otherwise you wont be able to break cc every 7-8 sec, blocking occasionally and dodging out of bad stuff. Hard to know when you only see unbuffed stats.

I'm using Tri Stats Potions, that boosts my Stamina Recovery to 616 recovery.

As for buffed Spell Damage is around 3200 when I activate Structured Entropy.

on my templar I use 2stat regen bufffood in pvp that way I have 1.2k stam regen which is pretty nice since I can always CC break and put a dodge roll here and there to avoid frags and stiff like that maybe thats something for you too

Rest of the build looks oke?

I differ slightly as I'm Breton so I have more Magicka. We have the same health as I use healthy jewellery and I have more stamina as I run Stam enchanted shields on both bars.

Other than the attributes I think we're pretty much the same, my spell resist is ridiculous though. 34k buffed in light armour haha.

I like infused on chest and legs, rest divines. I also like the 5/1/1 set up for more resources. I use tri-food and immovable/health/stam pots. My Magicka looks after itself with just Channeled Focus.

How did you get so much spell resist? :open_mouth:

I have almost the same with my templar and its pretty easy to achieve them when you are breton 3k + 2k templar passive + 20 points in spellresist in cp + 18% nirn + light armor passive + 1 heavy chest

Your stats look good except for that stam regen but I guess thats a matter of taste. Just make sure your health is high enough. I use healthy willpower jewelry to compensate the missing health boost from the bufffood

I think your stamina pool is too low and your stam recovery not high enough. In a group you might be able to get away with that but in open world, CC spammers are going to have a field day.

    My 2 cents

If you use kagrenac's hope you can drop healthy jewellery and go 3x arcane

My current pvp only templar is imperial his stats are

    38k magicka
    27k hp
    16k stamina

    3450 spell power buffed
    1550 regen buffed

Stam regen is about 780 with tri pots up.

    He's also a vampire.

Currently using 5x kragneracs and 4x torugs pact

    All arcane willpower jewellery

Have considered swapping the torugs for magnus, but the extra 1k health and spell resist are handy for my more tanky type playstyle

The health allows me to survive one shot heros, and I've got enough stam to dodge / break free consistently.
