Yes, I tried it on PTS and didn't buy one because it bothered me too much to watch for long. Just something about the motion.

True, you do loose a little bit of vision, but you still see your mount's head. Haven't been in Cyrodil since Orsinium dropped and I got my bear and this addon.
Then again, lack of vision hasn't been the cause of most of my PvP deaths...more lack of skill.
