[PS4] Group Finder still doesn't work

The Orsinium update brought many changes to the Group Finder system. However, they aren't working as intended. I literally waited 1h and found no one whatsoever. I queued for ALL dungeons, both Normal and Veteran, and nothing. When I do find a group, someone always leaves the group right after finding it. I am literally giving up on this game.

Its bad, Ive tried to look groups for IC dungeons in last two days, Im almost finished with Orsinium and grand total is 4 group dungeon found and zero dungeon completed. New Trial is coming with Thief DLC and not to mention Murkmire is said to be Craglorn 2, doesnt look good for ESO.

Yep the group finder is a poor substitute for actually giving console players methods to communicate that don't involve being in close proximity to one other.

That's not ultimately what is strangle ESO in it's sleep though. It's the lag and frequent game breaking bugs.

The group finders terrible. We had three V16 I needed one more and it kept giving us a v1. Especially if you're using the group find her to do the undaunted dailies if your max level you want a Max level group..I then attempted it by myself to see who it would pair me with and it gave me a v1 a v4 and a v8...how does that even work it's completely useless

I tried it last night on EU PS4 - found a full group within 2 seconds. That was selecting any dungeon/normal.

It created a group with a level 36, 39, VR4 and VR5. We completed the dungeon "Ax Corsinium" or something like that, but we did have a few deaths along the way.

But, I can't complain, it put me into a pug group almost instantly. cleared the dungeon, finished the quest and got the skillpoint - not tried it yet with a pledge group

Yeah it's trash. Give us text chat already or remove dungeons from the game. I'm not yelling over 50 trash talking children to get a group and external LFG sites are worse than the group finder. It won't even find me a VR16 daily vet undaunted that's got to be the most popular dungeon of the day

Everyone is battle leveled to v15 (i think?) in group finder... even though you were paired with lower levels... they are scaled to 15 and the dungeon will be scaled to v16.
Everyone under 16 gets a buff. as long as they have decent set gear on that character, you will do fine in a dungeon.

Are you queueing as a DPS? DPS queue times are notoriously long in every MMO.

Yes, though I've tried selecting all roles at one point and still found no groups. Something is clearly broken on PS4 or on US Server.

Im on ps4 eu , took me 3sec to find a group - im a tank though. Issue i had was i didnt get a loot bag.... I think its your role vs the needed roles. Too few ppl tank.

You are the second EU person saying it is all working fine. I guess it's a problem with the US server.

Its too bad console players had the patch released at a later date.

Right after the patch went live for PC the DPS queue time was instant. Even as a DPS you could get a group in seconds.
But I think people got tired of getting level 10-20's in their groups with the very bad scaling, the constant wipes and not being able to finish dungeons.
So shortly after the patch the wait times for DPS started to increase with the average wait time now 45min to an hour.
The group finder "fix" was very short lasting and now we are back to the way it was. (however once in awhile, very rarely, you do get lucky and get a fast group as DPS)
The only way to get a fast queue now is as a tank or healer. And then have fun tanking/healing your badly scaled level 10-20 group! lol

It was a great idea, just poorly executed. Used it twice so far. First time jumped right into a group. Second time took over and hour. Both times got paired with at least 2 level 30's.

Funny thing is I qued for vet, but got normal. That is horrible. Also these low levels couldn't pick me up. I don't know if they didn't know how or didn't have the appropriate soul gem. Either way both runs were a disaster.

Need to have a filter in place to make sure you at least get vet runs. Also would he nice to have and option not to run with non vets period. I understand the new battle leveling, but most of these players just don't have the proper skills or morphs to really contribute.
