Title says it all. How many times have you dismounted to get a node only to be foiled by those pesky insects hahaha

    I'm mainly exploring by foot, but whenever I find a Ruby node of any kind which is incredible rare, I have to harvest through a bunch of butterflies first in hope no one else sees the same Ruby and gets it first lol Not that I'm greedy, but it's Ruby mats, after all^^

    For crafting mats you mean? Yes, you can get hide of a level determined by your crafting rank/passives from creatures in Wrothgar. If you've got the passives, they'll drop rubedo leather scraps some of the time, and shadowhide the rest of the time.

    I have the 'sometimes additional drops from nodes' champion thing.... and oddly it works on insects too. Sometimes (a lot of times, weirdly) the butterflies in Wrothgar give me 4 insect parts

    Ikr...butterflies be coming out of cloak on my node and straight ambushing me and using their OP shields that dont scale off their health. Sigh

    It's ridiculous. I mean has anyone ever one shotted a butterfly? Nope

    Lol. It's funny the OP mentions this. I was just thinking to myself the other day how odd the Butterfly population is in Wrothgar. Particularly in the colder regions. I live in northern Wisconsin, and trust me when I tell you there are no Butterflies prancing around the snow banks in January. Of course we don't have Orcs and Harpies either, so who am I to judge magical winter Butterflies?
