Hey, as long as ZOS can get people to cough up $30 for a few hours of PvE content, I think ESO ZOS has a rather bright future ahead of itself.
Too bad. I've gotten many more than a few hours out of it and my second char has barely stuck his nose in. 2 more to go after that, too.
This will take me well into December easily and I'm hardly casual.
Lag is ruinin' my 'mershun! A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in. There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance - Socrates Member of the Old Guard, keepers of the game's history
I bought it, when everyone was hyping it up. I just wanted to see if my opinion was different. It's nice and everything just like the entire game but I am not going to say things like "OMG! It is filled with awesomeness!" or "You have to buy it because the music is better than S..!".
If you are still looking to buy it my opinion would be:
- if you're a crafter, wait till you have all your points in the crafting skills before going
- If you just want to quest, I would wait till you are higher level like V14
I personally am not tough enough to fight there. I bought both DLCs but am waiting to venture into it when I am V14 and I have all my crafting skills under 1 character.

Orsinium is gorgeous and well done all-around. ESO lacks repeatable content, so once you are done with the DLC, you are really done. ZOS needs to scale all zones and have repeatable quests in all zones so you can continue to experience the game world.
I really liked the content of Orsinium and as far as what it is; the devs can at least be proud with its creation. Some beautiful land design and it's really nice to see a more interactive quest line (love the avalanches and I liked seeing movement/action during dialog). Though of course nothing is perfect.
I would have loved for them to put in more longevity in the content, ie mini games (such as horse racing or a board game you can bet on), duelling, another raid, more objectives in Cyrodiil, get the f*** out with CP (abort! That baby is super ugly!) and bring back soft caps, player housing for those that enjoy it... the list is endless.
What the update does sum up are some of the issues with the current game which includes the absolute back breaking labour that the devs have set themselves, which is to make constant new updates instead of giving content which allows players to make their own fun. Redoing quests and the same trials is not fun for the players and it's not creative (or smart) game design. Players will love this new zone for a short time until they complete it, then get bored and complain for new content. Put some games in there and make it fun and the devs will have just bought themselves a reprieve to be creative or time to fix bugs while the current player base enjoys content that doesn't just end with a limited questline.
