They used to be really good about listening to feedback. Lately, the community has been crying out for communication and most of the devs don't even acknowledge us. They do, however, acknowledge irrelevant posts.

Just for fun. You pick one question, pretend you were in a position to give an official answer and let others critique your decision. Maybe you aren't cut out for it? Maybe you are too good for it? ;)

    Great..

Of the hypothetical questions the "community" asked in which your initial post stated a zos response of ...

You pick one of those questions

After you picked a question, come up with the solution or statement or whatever it is you are looking for

It might not be as easy as you think

Ohhhhh I see now. Let's say the zerg buffs for example. Sure, just saying "stop buffing zergs" doesn't get the point across, and doesn't provide anything to build off of for a dev reading the post. My 3-word sentence was just the skinny, though. I've seen plenty of threads with actual constructive discussion about the issue. Streamers like Sypherpk and Fengrush even talked about it on the "We are ESO" podcast, a podcast that ZOS devs have tuned in to watch.

And there has been total silence from ZOS about it. Which is not unlike how they've reacted to the other different issues stated above.

You get it, but you can't do it.

Lets try again. Here we go playing make believe. You will pretend you have the solution and I will ask the question.

Me: How will you deal with the zerg buffs?

    You:...?

That's just the thing though. Maybe they don't have an immediate solution. Maybe it takes time. Maybe it's a work in progress and we just don't know it yet. The point is, whatever is the truth, they aren't telling us. If only they just said "we recognize this specific issue and this is currently how we are trying to go about fixing it" then there wouldn't be so much unrest in the community.

But they aren't even doing that. They're just ignoring it. They aren't communicating.

Just because they don't say what you want to hear doesn't mean they aren't saying anything. It took them a while to fix some of those things you mentioned, people just need to keep letting them know whats wrong and they will work on it.

"Community: "Fix the lag in Cyrodiil."
ZOS: ...they are working on it and is their main priority.

    Community: "Stop buffing zergs."
    ZOS: ...they arent buffing zergs.

Community: "Give us a small group or 1v1 pvp arena."
ZOS: They have nothing in the works although they wont rule it out in the future.

    Community: "We need more trials."
ZOS: New trial coming in next DLC

    Community: "Magicka DK needs buffing."
ZOS: ...Magicka dk is one of the best dps for pve. Not exactly an easy thing to juggle pvp and pve but im sure they will think of something.

Community: "PvP content isn't as rewarding as PvE content."
ZOS: ...pvp is rewarding just by doing pvp. Also they are increasing the lvls of pvp sets in cyrodiil.

Community: "These abilities need reworking. A lot of people are in consensus."
ZOS: ...skills are always a work in progress.

You know what, you're right. I'll just wait until everything's fixed and keep my mouth shut. Because if I don't voice my thoughts and concerns then everything will turn out okay. Also, if you didn't know about the zerg buff, you're probably in no place to tell me that I'm saying untrue things when you aren't even fully informed yourself.

I never said keep your mouth shut i said the opposite. Again, if it isnt what you want to hear then you make up stuff to fit your agenda.

I'm not making up stuff... I'm speaking on behalf of the players who wan't clear, consistent communication from the developers. I highly suggest you tune into the We Are ESO podcasts sometime.

I'm glad you brought this to my attention. While I cannot make any promises I will Do so, I will certainly try my hardest to at least become familiar with this as its my goal to make sure you are satisfied.

Why? So i can hear the biased comments of solo players? They do have good points but they mix it with their real agenda. They feel they should be able to solo a zerg. They feel they should gain ultimate as fast as 20 players. They feel fights last too long but really...who likes being one shot without a chance to fight back.

Just because they are good players and do good on twitch doesnt mean they know whats best for an mmo. It takes time to get things right not knee jerk reactions.

ZOS have always been notoriously bad at communication. It does seem they are more silent than usual though. One possible reason is staff (inc. customer support) numbers are considerably smaller than before.

The original teams gone. With them went the vision. Now we're stuck with a game that really isn't fun, especially in PVP.

Maybe they are just getting really tired of all the griping about nearly everything involved with the game. There are very few positive threads in the forums. If it were me,I know I'd dread even coming onto this site to read my mail, much less take all the abuse in the forums themselves.Even if it IS my job,..I'd have come to dread it by now.
