Nope. It's a documentary-style film following some modern day students investigating bear attacks that turn out not to be bear attacks. I really enjoyed it.

I've never been been approached like that by a random guy. Maybe because my char doesn't have huge boobs and backside. I wanted her to look nice and natural, yet strong in her own way, so that's probably why there are no desperate guys giving me money and presents.

And I actually like it that way.

I've been playing MMO's for ages, I'm sort of used to it. Happens allot less frequently these days though...but then again, I don't really play the "popular" MMO's these days.

I play a mix of both male and female toons, never thought much of it except personal enjoyment of a character concept. I do on occasion get someone following me for a few seconds, rarely do i get a comment. I usually reply "TY" unless they push it, then i mention I'm a dude, and it usually stops there.

The only think I find odd is the sheer # of players who get worked up over the sex of a toon in game. Makes me wonder if people need to get out in real social situations more often...a real person is far more interesting then a graphical representation of one.

I have on many occasions experienced the opposite problem while playing as a male! My beefy male Nord has received at times gold, gifts and proposals from players both when he's nudie as well as wearing full armour!

One time in Craglorn I had a random player ask to group with me. She then proceeded to immediately send me whispers, telling me how handsome my Nord was. She asked for me to send her pics of me in RL & she would send some in return! I was torn between telling her I am a female in RL, or just sending her a pic of 40ish year old me right after I'd woken up of a morning!

I have even been told by a female player (whom I can only assume was young!) that they knew I was joking about being a female in RL as there was no way I could be because my character was male!! Lol Like, WTF??

Rule of any game: NEVER assume a player is the same gender as their character in RL

You might want to look up the penal code for online solicitation of a minor. The laws vary from country to country and state to state, but you do know that they are typically written specifically so that communication of a sexual nature with a minor or someone presenting themselves to be a minor is itself a crime right? You don't have to actually meet up with a minor for it to be a crime.

I have never noticed this behaviour in the EU server. Most women openly say that they are women, they talk in TeamSpeak and nobody ever reacts weirdly to that, i mean why should they? Women are players too, this stereotype that only teenage boys or fat, ugly geeks with glasses in mommy's basement only game has to stop, it's so wrong it's not even funny anymore.
Yeah, women play games, women go to the toilet and women do all the things men do and if someone acts weird around a woman player or character, then he is just a creep or a sex starved virgin, i can't think of another reason.
Seems to be more prominent on USA servers than it is on EU from what I've whitnessed and others have said. Never encountered this issue before personally, and neither has my wife, who is also an avid gamer neither in guild chats, zone chats or local chats, or even pvp chats.

I think there's a certain type of understanding or assumption among most of the players, that almost every female character has a male player controlling it. I also think that the special ones who don't have this understanding, fail to understand many other things in life.

I'm a type of guy who has 3 female characters and 1 male.
Not because I want free stuff, but very simply because the male characters often look clumsy and.. stupid. Although, I really shouldn't feel the need to justify this choice.
It's an MMORPG, we can be what and whoever we want to. Yes, we can even be lizard-people!

Like in a video game that is meant for ages 18+ ??? Your prompted for a birth date before logging in to the website....
I am not going to watch my behavior in game because kids might be playing. Don't let your young kids play in an 18+ yr old setting then.

Reminds me of local stories where a guy takes a girl home he met at a bar and then gets into trouble for fraternizing with a minor. Who's to blame? I have an idea..maybe the minor shouldn't have been in the bar in the first place. When we put ourselves in adult settings, including a video game that is sold for 18+ audiences, why should we have to worry about minors in the game?

Without dating myself, this was true in the early days of MMOs. However, Vent and TS demonstrate that more woman are playing MMOs by the day.

Unless they are using soundblaster to change their voice. Like that guy from Yugoslavia.
