what does the amount of exp required to level have to do with the subject being disccussed?

When I started playing ~May 2014, very shortly thereafter there were already VR12s (max level at the time) running around. I really don't know how they did it. That was probably the first thing I noticed in this game that was an indicator of the types of people playing.. not a very good indicator IMO.

Um, you know that the amount of quest XP you receive for handing in significant quests increases dramatically as you become higher level, right? On vet rank characters you can receive over 16K XP for turning in a single quest that took you less than half an hour to do (without rushing and with reading everything and listening to the dialogue), and that doesn't even include the thousands of XP you'd receive for the mob kills you got while doing that quest (a single mob kill typically earns me 455 XP, so every time you take 10 seconds to kill a group of 3 mobs while questing you're looking at about 1300XP). On a vet rank character I expect to earn a minimum of 50K each hour when I'm taking my time and paying attention to all of the dialogue etc.

And you know that those people knew the exploit from the beta...When I started playing ~May 2014, very shortly thereafter there were already VR12s (max level at the time) running around. There was an exploit at launch, don't remember what it was but that's where all those V10's came from.
V12 didn't come until lower Crag was released.

I've recently rolled a Khajiit stam sorc. Her name is Kibbles and Crits.
I hate grinding so am always wondering how people have multiple v16s so quickly as well
If I look at the numbers, it's mathematically impossible not to rush through content if you're VR16:
what does the amount of exp required to level have to do with the subject being disccussed?
Well, let's do the math... 13.6 million XP needed just to make VR16 (not even counting lvl 1-50...) divided by 612 days since release =~23,000 XP a day, if ESO was available every day (which isn't the case...) If you read all of the books, listen to all the dialogue (Which isn't contingent upon your ability to digest content... one can only voice act so fast...) and collect even half of the available loot... you manage ~9500 XP/hour. If you play 2 hours/day, every day, that = 19,000 XP/day... but then you'd hafta subtract time to go to your therapist...
So, if you have any amount of normalcy in your life, it is not possible...
