With an active eso+ membership you dont have to buy any DLC with crowns as long as you dont cancel your sub. You didnt had to buy IC with crowns im sorry

I did wait until 29.09. to get it. That means i have waited for half a month, so i payed with Crowns... Any explanation from ZOS why i didnt got it in time?????

Dude, it did not tell me ***. Just tooked my crowns, The worst thing is that ZOS does not give a damn thing about it, otherwise they would say at least something about it...

ZOS will give you 1500 crowns per month with membership. ( youre getting your 15$ back) use said crowns to buy DLC. Stop Membership once you buy DLC. Repeat as DLC comes out. Simple. Think of it as a loan. You can play the DLC now ( as to not limit player amounts in DLC areas) but you can still buy it later so you no longer need to pay 15$ a month. Pay sub for 2 months and buy the dlc and be done with it. In essence. you SHOULD be buying the DLC from the crown store. Otherwise you are wasting money unless you just really want that 10% xp bonus.

Its a smart idea.
1: Their DLC still gets bought
2: There isnt much of an issue with players not being able to play with others who do have it.
3: In essence you are renting the DLC with no interest till you can pay off the DLC.
4: This helps them and you at the same time.

Let me tell you one thing. Like i said. I am subscribed to ESO plus since the console relase. I set it as an auto sub so that i dont need to do it all the time. But like i said before, i was waiting for 2 weeks after the DLC launch. I was tyerd of waiting and i paid. Well this was my fault not contacting ZOS earlyer, but how ever ther dont respond to allmost nobody. I do get my 1000 crowns each month, thats fine, means ESO plus in active, but still needed to pay for the DLC. So what do u think is wrong...

Is your ESO Plus showing as active in-game? There should be an active effect in the Character Screen called "ESO Plus Member". You say you waited two weeks after the DLC launch; what were you waiting for? What happened when you tried to go into the Imperial City?

@ Enodoc: thanks mate. much appreciated. just a shame Zos could not be bothered answering this for me. now i know i will be pruchasing it in crowns and then un-subbing asap.

I wouldn't say "impossible", just not highly likely.

Any technical, billing or support related issues should always be submitted to ZOS via a ticket. The forums are not the appropriate place reach out to them for such issues, unless you're asking the community for advice/help. Good luck!

With no warning messge. Seems fishy to me.

First 3 days i had no notification at all being able to enter the city or not. After the 3 days i just got the no accsess message. So i was pissed of a bit. So i went to the store, no warning message what so ever, i saw the price of 2500 Crowns. I re entered the store about 10 times with allways the same result. I got scruwed. But not just onthe EU server witxh is the main i play on, also on the NA server it happend the same thing. No accsess at first, afet paing 2500 Crowns i was welcome. Got scruwed two times. Im not asking the crowns back because the content in the IC is low, im doing it because of being an ESP plus member and not having accsess to it and not getting any warning message after entering the strore about 10 times. They literally just wanted me to pay for content i allready should have accsess to it... And im tyred answearing allways the same questions. I answeared all you wanted to know kore than once. Still waiting for the e-mail respond from ZOS...

That's odd.... if you haven't yet purchased it in the Crown Store, but have it available through ESO Plus, it should say something like "ESO Plus Unlocked", not "Purchased in Crown Store".

There was an issue on XB around the launch of IC. MS' system had a hiccup or something and everyone lost their ESO+ bonuses/access to DLC for a couple of days. Perhaps it was during this time that the OP tried to access IC.

However, the OP should have contacted ZOS to investigate the error rather than just purchasing the DLC. Whenever you have an issue with your account - email or call CS, don't just wait around or post on the forums. I've had issues with not receiving my ESO+ crowns since August, and have had to put in a ticket each time. First time, it took one week to get my crowns; second time, a couple of days; third time, within a day. They do respond; you just need to put in a ticket and give them as much information as possible up front.

On console, DLC is shown in the Collections tab as "unlocked" (I think it then says "with ESO+ membership," but it might say "with purchase from Crown Store.") If I go to the Crown Store, I can still purchase it, and I assume the warning message would pop up if I tried to purchase it. You're still allowed the option to purchase it because some people, even with an active membership, might want to actually own a particular DLC.
