Should the fear effect be broken once you take xx damage?

    The problem with fear is the cc break that is bugged. For example you can cc break the javelin thing from templars BEFORE you even touch the ground, you can cc break instantly almost any other hard cc BUT with fear you have at least 1s without the ability to break it, wich is a big problem.

    Resource management is so trivial, they just need to make CC breaking more reliable (not just for fear, for every CC).

    But I can't believe people are still struggling against fear. If fear is still making or breaking you, there is something wrong with your setup.

    Well, in most MMORPGs I've played (Daoc, WoW), every type of damage would be 'breaking'...
    ZOS tries to re-invent the wheel - 95% of all my (very mmo-experienced) guild friends have left ESO.. I stayed because I like beautiful things (I refer to the graphics) :wink:

    Lol no. If i fear you and your out of stamina you should not be able to break it.

    This just needs to be fixed on Zos's part. It needs to be breakable instantly. Not the delay many players are seeing.

    I can have a full stamina bar just to watch my character run in the opposite direction, seems to finally break after 1.5-2 seconds. Im on ps4 and i feel in that aspect fear or cc in general needs to be fixed.

    Hence why I said they need to fix CC breaking, to make it more reliable.

    That issue you mentioned can happen to any CC, I can't tell you how many times I get hit from a topple or a leap and cannot CC break right away with full stamina.

    If someone cannot manage their stamina, it doesn't matter if fear breaks on damage. A good NB will fear at a point where his damage is going to kill you anyway.

    No need for any nerf. They should rather fix the cc system which is buggy as hell.

    And stop asking for nerfs, start asking for buffs. Way better to balance that way instead of making everything useless. Just look at the poor DKs where all this nerfculture lead to. Do you guys really wanna do the whole thing to all the classes? I wish no one to experience the treatment my poor DK has gotten.

    Rune prison and fossilize break when damaged so fear should be the same, it already fears/snares/ and grants minor main to 3 targets so there is no reason why it shouldn't break on damage.

    Comparing wrecking blows cc to fears makes no sense. Wrecking blow is dodge able and blockable fear is not. Fossilize and rune prison break when damage fear should do the same.

    rune prison and fossilize arent fears, its similar to siphoning tree´s Agony. breaks on damage too.
